Steven who is one of Erica's education appointment who oversaw the education department of the prison and is present when corrections General Manager Derek Channing comes for a visit after the death of Meg Jackson, Channing somewhat bemused by the addition says to Erica that the public isn't after well trained and educated baristas.
When Toni is told by Doreen to get something from her cell Toni does so and is stopped by Fletch when Toni stumbles. Phelps sees Matthew Fletcher escorting Toni Goodes away from the yard.
Steve is told to leave by Erica who says she will cover up his deal with Toni
Steven realises that Toni might say something and he rushes to go and see Erica Davidson and asks for her help right before she is appointed as Governor of Wentworth Correctional Centre. Steven confesses to Erica that he made a deal with Toni, supplying drugs to her for sexual favours, Erica is furious at this Steven is scarred that Toni is going to tell the guards everything on him. Erica says she will deal with that if Toni does and tells Steven to go and pack his things and look for a career elsewhere.
