Sean Brody was a former officer at Wentworth Correctional Centre and former guard of Walford Men's Prison.
Brody was a former officer at Walford Prison before his transfer to Wentworth, Brody may have been apart of Walford's drugs trade.
Brody's arrival at Wentworth was met with distain from Jake Stewart as the two had a sexual relationship before Jake's transfer to Wentworth.
Brody manages to manipulate the entire prison with his murder of Kaz Proctor and the framing of Vicky Kosta as a result, the debt to fellow officer Linda Miles and the set up to kill Marie Winter. Brody initiates the Siege of Wentworth when his plan with AG Michael Heston falls apart.
Brody is shot and killed by Allie Novak who shoots him as revenge for Kaz Proctor's death.
Season 7
Ep 3
In the yard walk way, Sean is with Will who is introducing him to the exercise yard and says that he needs to brace himself, Sean asks what for and Will opens the gate to the yard and the women immediately start flirting with him and Will says that he hopes he has a thick skin to it all and Sean says that the blokes did the same thing at Walford. Will and Sean walk over to Jake who is standing with an inmate and Will says that he probably know's Sean from Walford and Sean says that it has been awhile. Will says that he can show him around and Jake tries to get out of it by saying he needs to check the kitchen, Will says to take him with him, Jake reluctantly agrees. As Sean and Jake walk, Jake asks how Walford is and Sean says it is the same old clusterfuck and Jake asks him if things got too hot at Walford and had to spilt, Sean asks if he is talking from experience and says that he is being well behaved and will have to convince Jake about it.
As Kosta and her crew have Stang held up Sean comes in and tells them to break it up as Rita and Narelle leave, Sean tells Kosta''s crew that 'reading time is over'. When they all leave the library, Sean tells everyone except Kosta to go back to their unit and Sean asks what that was about to her and says that it was just a misunderstanding, Sean tells Kosta if she ever needs help that she can come to him. Without him knowing about Jake is watching what is happening.
Sean arrives at Wentworth from Walford
Sean is walking around the corner as Jake catches up to him and says that was quick, confused Sean asks what, and Jake says that it is just a coincidence that he was talking to the prisons main drug dealer, Sean surprised at this asks if she is and says that he was just breaking up a fight and asks him when did he get so stitched up about things. Jake tells Sean to not bother starting up a drugs trade in the prison and he walks away, Sean then walks away.
Sean tells Linda a 'winning tip'
Linda is in the staffroom filling out a racing form as Sean walks in and says hello, Linda asks how he is settling in as he is reaching to grab lunch from the fridge, Sean says that he is settling in fine and it feels like 'home already'. Sean looks and sees that Linda is looking at the racing guide and says that he sees that they share a passion, Linda says that it is good and asks him if he has any good tips. Sean says that he does and that she should go for Little Miss Hobs, Linda says that they are long odds and Sean says those are good odds and says to get on it quick smart before leaving, Linda watches him leave and Sean says that he is gay, Linda sighs and she looks up at the celling.
During the night, Linda is leaving as she says 'see you' to another officer she is walking when Sean catches up to her and reveals that the horse 'Little Miss Hobbs' won, and Linda asks if the horse got up and Sean nods, Sean asks if Linda put the bet on and she shakes her head 'no', as Sean says that the odds blew out and the horse made a 'nice little earner' as he walks away he tells Linda that 'you snooze you lose deputy governor!'. Linda walks away mad at herself.
Jake is in the staffroom as Sean walks in and says morning to him, Jake ignores him and Sean says that he is trying so hard to be a person that he is not and says that it is pathetic to watch, Jake tells him to 'go fuck himself' and he walks off as Sean says he would if he could as Jake walks out he bumps into Linda and he raises his hands as he leaves, Linda walks over to her locker as she asks Sean 'what's up his arse', as Sean turns to Linda and says that he has another hot tip for her and it is better then the one he told her about the day before, Linda looks at him as Sean says only if she is interested, Linda smiles.
Ep 4
Sean in ep 4 gives Marie drugs, claiming she'll be back for more and that the drugs he gave her were "good quality shit". He also helps Linda get rid of the dead sex worker that was brought in for Liz. He tells Linda to wipe the footage and shred paperwork and that he will dump him in the park after his shift. Sean claims Vincent died of natural causes. Sean calmly says to Linda he was "fucked to death" and that the police shouldn't find any reason to believe he was ever at the prison.
Sean then gets on Jake's nerves not once but twice. On the second occasion, Sean outs Jake as bisexual and asks him if he has decided to "go straight" again and for how long. This is a double entendre meaning straight as in heterosexual but also straight as in no longer being involved in selling drugs and being a corrupt officer.
Sean in episode 5 is seen escorting prisoners back to their cells during the code black, he gets asked who it is and he says he doesn't know. He is also seen telling Will that there are protestors at the gate including media, he is seen again during the memorial service and in the dining room the following mourning telling Vicky Kosta and Winter to sit, He is later seen slotting Kosta.
Sean is seen in episode 6, when he tells Linda he has final count as Linda was escorting Winter back to her unit, in that moment passes drugs to Winter, but is seen by Jake, who tells him such, he later gives more drugs to Marie which are used to drug Ruby Mitchell, but Sean tries to blackmail Jake as he knows he reported Greg Miller to the board, Jake slams him into a locker and tells him he's been blackmailed by better people, so Sean decides on the ultimate revenge, he reports Jake on a false claim of sexual harassment, causing Jake to be suspended.
Ep 7
Sean spots Linda after telling her she already $20k in debt and she says she has a winner.
Sean and Jake speak of Walford when Jake tells him to withdraw his complaint
During night rounds, Sean is doing his rounds and looking around as he is spooked by Jake who snuck into the building, Sean asks what he is doing there and Jake says that he needs to speak with him. Jake and Sean go to the boiler room as Jake tells Sean that he needs to withdraw the complaint as he could ruin his career, Sean refuses as Jake says that he is also ruining his relationship with Vera, Sean scoffs and says sarcastically that Vera holds him in such high regard. Jake then says that he has been trying to convince Vera over the last few months that he isn't a total weasel and that if he keeps going he will ruin any chance he had left. Sean then says that women are 'fickle' and says that is where Jake went wrong and he should've just stuck to 'sucking cock'. Jake looks on as he asks if Sean was jealous, Sean says that he isn't. Jake walks over to him and says that he wants to be there and know his daughter he then says he will do whatever Sean wants but he must withdraw the complaint. Sean tells Jake to convince him as Jake takes off Sean's belt and drops it to the floor as Jake says he knows that Sean was pissed off that he ended things, Sean tells him to fuck off and denies that as he says that Walford is like shooting fish in a barrel, Jake then says not at Wentworth and turns Sean around as Jake asks if that it was he has been hitting on him the 'lack of options'. Sean then says it would be a bridge to far to have a threesome with Jake and Mr Jackson. Jake hearing all he needs to hear walks off and shuts the door behind him as Sean calls him a 'soft cock',
As Linda is finishing up for the night she is talking with Sean who learns that her good tip won her $3000 and she thanks him for spotting her and she puts her cup on the table and walks over to her locker saying that she is "shagged" and she doesn't know how much more she can hack working the doubles. Sean tells her that she has to get used to it as Jake won't be coming back anytime soon and that she has a lot of double shifts to work if she is going to repay her debt. Linda says that what she needs is a few more good race tips so she can kiss the double shifts the 'arse' and as she walks away she tells Sean that she owes him and Sean says that she does as Sean's phone goes off he gets a message from Jake. Sean plays the audio from Jake which was of their conversation earlier, as Sean stops playing the audio he realises that he has been played.
Sean walks out of Wentworth into the carpark where he is met by Jake. Jake asks him if he got his message, Jake then tells Sean to withdraw the complaint again or Will and Vera get a copy of the audio, Sean says that Jake is bluffing and that he doesn't 'have the balls' to tell Vera about them. Jake says that he has already told Vera about it and Sean exclaims that he would've loved to have seen the look on Vera's face. Jake says that she will be less impressed to find out what a weasel Sean really is, Sean then says that Jake learned some tricks himself and Jake says that he was taught by the "master" and that person is now deceased. Sean then says that Jake has won that round and says that he will withdraw the complaint, Jake asks him what he is going to tell them, Sean says that he will tell them that he overreacted and they sorted it out privately, Jake nods and he begins to walk away when Sean says that it is a waste and that they would've been good together.
Ep 8
Marie, Linda and Sean walk back into the prison as Will comes over and says that he will take Marie back to her unit, Sean trying to hide the fact he almost got her killed says that is fine,
Jake walks into the staffroom and he sees Sean standing over Linda at her locker as she is highly upset, Sean sees Jake and finishes talking to Linda and he walks over to Jake eyeing him up and down before he walks off.
Sean says that Michael has been like a father to him
Marie is in her cell thinking, as she hears the door open, Sean comes in and he looks at Marie before looking around and throwing drugs on her bed, Marie picks them up and throws them on the floor as Sean says "suit yourself". Marie asks what is going on, Sean says that Michael is trying to pull some strings and he should have an update soon, Marie says that it better be a "good fucking update", Sean tells Marie to relax and says that Michael will do what needs to be done and says that his career is the most important thing to him and to believe him on that matter. Marie then asks about Linda and Sean says that they don't have to worry about her. Marie then says that they must be paying Sean a lot of money, Sean asks what, Marie says for his help as Sean reveals that he isn't being paid as Marie asks why he is helping Michael then, Sean says because Michael has been good to him and he is like a father, Marie then says "is that what they call it?" Sean looks at Marie and then walks away.
The following morning, Sean is on duty and in the halls he calls out Marie's name and she walks over to him where he tells her that Michael couldn't pull the strings he wanted to pull so instead they will bust Marie out of Wentworth, Marie looks on stunned as freedom is just moments away.
Ep 9
Vera is taken hostage
Sean is ready to go, as Marie sees Ruby walking with Officer Peta Webb who tells Anna Deng that Ruby isn't feeling well and that she is going to take her to main medical, Marie watches on as she looks at Ruby and she looks back at her, Marie tells Sean to 'unlock the cuffs', Sean says what as Marie says to him that there is something she needs to do in general and that she just needs five minutes, Sean asks if she is serious and Marie demands that he unlock the cuffs as Rita yells out and asks where her transport is and Sean says that it is coming, Sean tells Anton and Wes to wait in the medical room as Sean goes over to the airlock as Sean tells Marie that they were already supposed to be in the brawler as Vera comes in with Liz who just had her appointment, Sean hurries Marie back to medical as he tells Wes and Anton to move. Vera knocks on the door as she and Liz stand outside a strip search room, and Sean tells his buddies to stay put, as Vera asks Sean what Marie is doing there and Sean says that Marie just had a strip search as Vera tells Deng that Liz had a visitor, and Vera walks over and asks who the officer is, Sean says that he is there to take Marie to court and Vera says that they are late and should've been gone 15 minutes ago, as Rita gives Vera a look, Vera says that she doesn't recognise either officer as Sean says that the agency had sent them and Vera asks where their IDs are. Sean says that Wes would know and Wes says that they are just in the bag they just forgot to put them on, as Vera goes into the room she rests her hand on the radio as Wes goes to open the bag as Wes looks at Sean, he gives him a look and Wes pulls the gun out, as Vera tries to move, she is grabbed by Sean and the door to the room is slammed shut with Marie outside. Marie reacts as Rita asks her what the hell is happening as Wes points a gun at Vera, Vera looks on knowing the danger of the situation.
Vera tells Sean that whatever is going on he can end it as it is not worth doing a stretch at Walford for, Sean tells Vera to shut up as Vera tells him how long he'll last as Sean again tells her to shut up, Vera questions and asks him if he has seen a lynching and says that she has, Sean tells Wes to tape up Vera's mouth.
Sean goes out and tells Deng to control Liz at the same time Vera manages to hit the panic button, Sean realises what just happened, Will is in his office as he looks up, Vera takes the tape off her mouth, as she tells Deng to call in a lockdown, Vera is taken back into the strip search room as Officer Deng calls in the need for a lockdown in the admissions corridor as Will who is in his office hears the call, as Deng is knocked out cold by Sean he yells out to Anton and Wes that they are going now. Will places the prison on lockdown as Liz cries out what has he done as Sean is trying to get out he realises he can't get out as one of them asks what is going on. Will makes the radio call on what is going on in the corridor as Sean lies and says that Liz attacked Officer Deng and that he has it all under control and needs the lockdown lifted to get the officer into medical. Will sees on the cameras that Marie is also in the corridor and he asks why she is there, Sean ignores what Will asked and he says that he has a medical emergency and needs the lockdown lifted, as Will is about to end the lockdown, Vera manages to break free for a second and Will sees what is going on in the hallway and asks for Vera to be placed on the radio as Sean tries to figure out what to do Will tells him that he told him a direct order to put Vera on, as Sean angrily turns to Marie he says 'fuck', as the prison in placed into lockdown,.
Liz screams out to Brody what has he done in knocking out Deng, he tells Wes to shut Liz up and put her in the strip search room and Wes shoves her in there and tells her to shut up as Wes is told to cuff Deng to a table in the other room. Sean is furious with Marie and looks at her as she says that they need to go now, and Sean replies saying that it should've taken 5 minutes and he takes her back in to the strip search room and slams the door shut. Jake says that it might have something to do with Linda as Sean has his hooks into her for $20k. Will radios Sean once again and asks what is going on, as Sean comes out of the room and says that he needs Will to open the airlock, Will refuses and says not until he tells him what it is about, and Sean says at that moment it is about him opening the door, as Rita watches on from her cell, the others are still in the room as Will asks who the other officers are, Sean doesn't say anything as he finally produces the gun and aims it at the camera telling Will to open the airlock, Jake tells Will to open the airlock as Vera is in there, Will agrees but only for him the other two officers, Sean says that he can't do that and says that they are both coming with him as insurance, furious Jake demands Will give him the radio, Will tells him that he won't get far as he is informing the police, and Sean responds with if he does call the police in he will shoot Vera and demands Will open the airlock. Jake tells Will to just let Sean go as Will picks up the phone and tells his PA to call the police as they have a code red in progress, as a dumfounded Jake asks what Will is doing as he heard what Sean said and that he was going to hurt Vera, Will asks what the hell is he trying to do.
Sean holds Vera Hostage
Sean then tells Will that he is running out of patience as Jake picks up the radio he tells Jake that if he hurts Vera that he will kill him, as Sean responds by saying that if he wants to see Vera or his baby alive he gets the boss to unlock the airlock, Jake tells him that he is a dead man and Sean responds with "yeah.." as Jake says that he is going down there, Will tells him to stay put as they do not need more hostages down there.
Sean tells Marie he'll kill Allie if they don't get out of Wentworth
Sean tells Will to stop 'fucking with him', Will replies that he is not as Will watches the women make their way out of the laundry to the airlock as Will tells Sean that he is just trying to make sense of what he is doing, Sean tells Will he can think about when they are gone, Will tells Sean that he knows he can't do that, and Sean yells at him and says that he is the one with the gun and he says that he will use it, as Linda opens the door for Boomer, and the other inmates as Sean tells Will that he doesn't want anyone's blood on his hands, Will says no as Linda lets out May who drops her bottle of booze on the ground, as Sean turns around and spots the women as Linda tries to help the women in the doorway back into the room, Will and Jake see that they failed in their plan, as Sean tells the women who made it to get back into the laundry, as Marie watches on with Vera who is in pain, the women are herded into the laundry where Sean tells them to stay where they are, as Will and Jake watch what is going on, Linda asks Sean what is he's doing as Sean says to Linda "shut up you whiny bitch.." and to give him her guard belt, Linda shakes her head when Sean tells her to cover the cameras, Sean points the gun at Linda who then agrees and points to the women to cover the cameras, the cameras are covered as Will and Jake lose their only connection to what is going on.
Sean demands that everyone get on the floor as he also tells Linda to get on the floor as well, Kosta retorts by telling Sean that holding up a prison is 'real fucking smart' as Allie tells her to shut up, Sean tells Wes that if Kosta gets mouthy again to shoot her in the face as he hands him the gun, as the women sit down, May refuses to look at Boomer as Sean grabs a mop and walks out to move the cameras, as Sean then goes into medical, as Will and Jake again lose access to see what is going on as Will asks his PA how far away the police are and she says that the SOG are 10 minutes away. Jake tells Will that if Vera is hurt because of the cops, Will doesn't get the chance to reply as Marie contacts Will over the radio, Will takes the call as he asks Marie if she and Vera are ok, Marie says that they are fine but she is "scared" because he has a gun pointed at her when it's pointed at Vera and says for him to just open the airlock, Will says that it can't happen, as Marie says that she will go as the hostage and she will look after Vera, Will then says he cannot take the chance as Marie says that Sean will start hurting the women, Jake says to Will that he must convince Sean to just to Winter and let Vera go. Sean takes the radio off of Marie and says that he heard what she said and says will he open the door., Will takes a moment to compose himself and says that he cannot do that. Sean swears as he says to take Vera to the laundry, both fake officers take Vera out of the room, leaving behind the injured Officer Deng again as Rita watches on.
The hostages in the laundry and are looking around as Sean comes back in, bringing Vera back in with them, much to the surprise of everyone in the room, Vera is pushed by Sean as Linda manages to catch her and help her down to the ground and undo her restraints Vera asks if everyone is ok everyone nods as Allie asks Vera what is going on, Vera reveals that Marie is trying to escape and Sean is working for her, in disbelief Boomer says "No fuckin way.." as Kosta says that she "never liked the bitch" as Allie is furious and attempts to stand up to Marie by asking her what is she doing as Sean tells West to "shut her up.." as Wes goes to hit Allie, Marie steps in and says not to touch her, and Sean says that he will do more then touch her if they don't get out of the prison, he says that he will kill her, Allie looks on shocked as Marie looks on at Sean.
Sean grows impatient and says that time is up and demands that he release the lockdown now, Will remains stoic as Sean walks over to the hostages and points his gun at Allie as Marie watches on in shock, as Will and Jake hear the screams of the women through the radio, Sean looks over at Linda as Linda is fearful, as Sean makes eye contact with Vera, Sean then points the gun at Vera as Sean tells Will to release the lockdown or he will shoot Vera, Will trying to control the situation tells Sean that it is over, as Sean tells him to open the doors, Will then tells him that there is no way out of the situation, as Sean again agitated tells him to open the airlock, but Will refuses as Sean becomes enraged screams for Will to open the airlock as Will says that he needs to put the gun down before someone gets hurt and Will says that he doesn't want to make things worse for himself, the women look on with a distressed Vera the target.
Sean kills a hostage
Sean tells him one more time to open the doors as Will repeats his name. Sean finally has enough and he pulls the trigger shooting the hostage, as the women's screams fill the governors office, as both Will and Jake react and so does Rita, as Marie looks on in horror with Sean looking at the dead hostage.
Ep 10
Sean reacts to Marie after being told to stop shooting
Sean murders Vicky Kosta after Will again refuses to open the gates and allow him, the 2 fake guards and Marie to escape. Sean later proceeds to murder May Jenkins after her daughter, Sue "Boomer" Jenkins unsuccessfully tried to take Marie hostage and end the siege. Sean then reveals himself as the assailant who murdered Karen Proctor and he reveals to Marie that he slit her throat because he saw her in the unit and that Kaz would've lagged about Michael to the cops, leading to him later being shot in the head and killed by an enraged Allie Novak.
Brody's last lines are "Do as you're told you stupid cu---."

- Sean manages to manipulate the entire prison. He makes Kosta take the fall for Kaz's death, and manipulates Linda into a $20k debt, gets Jake suspended, all to further his agenda.
- It's possible that Michael Heston treated Sean "like a son" as Sean says to Marie in the says "he's been like a father" meaning he either groomed him or they were close.
