Rodney was recommended for the position of Deputy Governor during Joan's brief Governorship, but this falls through and when Joan is the governor for the second time as she tells him that other officers are being brought in. Is also knocked out during Joan's run as governor, and when he is found he wants to return back to work, but in some strange event Joan tells him he needs to be checked out before he can return to work and refuses to let him be at work concussed, even though Joan in the series had been knocked out multiple times. Adams gives Joan a mouth full and says that all he wants from Joan is a little respect. Gives Joan another mouthful after her demotion back to senior officer and is yelled at by her as a result. Prisoners turn on Adams after Ferguson's downfall continues, with Kath blackmailing him with the sack if he does not give the women more respect. Tells Kath Maxwell about Joan's arrest, later denies this (692)
