Rod Lewis is a witness to Colleen Powell running over an "elderly drunk" (420) by accident with her car. Unfortunately, he is not exactly unknown to the police himself and when Colleen reports his whereabouts to try to force him to testify on her behalf, he gets his own back by accusing her of deliberately running over the wino. Rick Manning "persuades" him he ought to do the right thing and tell the truth.

In the ending credits, Rod Lewis is seen to be portrayed by Ken Saltmarsh which is actually a typo because the actor is known as Keir Saltmarsh on his IMDb page.
