Nicole da Silva is an Australian actress She was born on August 16 1980.

Da Silva played the role of  Franky Doyle in Wentworth from Season 1 to season 6 and appeared as a guest in Season 7 heavily pregnant with her first child.

Nicole also appeared in Southern Star's AFI award-winning drama Rush as Senior Constable Stella Dagostino, for which she received critical acclaim over the show's four-season run.

Nicole also gained a Best Actress nomination at the Monte Carlo Television Awards for her role in Carla Cametti PD, as well as a Graham Kennedy Logie Award nomination for Most Outstanding New Talent for her role as E.C in Dangerous. Other television roles include East West 101 , All Saints and Doctor Doctor.

Da Silva gained notable recognition in the Network Ten police drama series Rush, in which she appeared in all 70 episodes in four seasons as Stella Dagostino in the story based on the real-life Victoria Police Critical Incident Response Team, something similar to the SWAT in the US, with the plot exploring both the personal and working lives of the team.

In the meantime, Nicole played one of the main roles as Lisa Testro in the show Carla Cametti PD (2009) for six episodes, but the series was cancelled after just one season.

After leaving the role of Franky Doyle behind, Nicole would appear in ABC Drama HARROW, and will appear in the second season of Binge Drama LOVE ME and was announced as a lead for upcoming drama ONE NIGHT alongside Yael Stone and Jodie Whittaker.

Nicole with co-star Danielle Cormack created the Production Company FourOneOne, and after the success of the play Whose Afraid Nicole revealed in a TV Week interview that she and Cormack are prepping to bring the production to life on the big screen.
