"Hey everybody, I got the fly."
Lou Kelly (Inmate #LK-48725F) is an inmate at Wentworth Correctional Centre.
Kelly had been in and out of Wentworth for years ever since "she was a kid". She was mentioned in series 2 by Doreen Anderson when Kelly was "flapping her mouth off" about the fight for top dog and the drugs trade coming to a halt due to Joan Ferguson drying out the compound.
Kelly after one of her releases from Wentworth met Reb Kean at The True Path retreat where the two would get to know each other. Lou would 'save' Reb from the horrific treatment of the True Path and Lou would burn down the retreat as a result.
Kelly's return to Wentworth is marked by a botched armed robbery. Kelly and Reb attempt to raise money for Reb's surgery by threatening inmates with violence and bringing drugs into the prison. Kelly became unhinged after the death of Reb and wanted revenge to the point where she ignores Judy's pleas to stop the plot.
Kelly attempts to escape over the 'No Man's Land' fence but is stopped by Rita Connors and arrested by the police. Kelly is presumably sent to a Supermax prison after this.
Season 8

Lou and Reb are at a jeweller store and are looking at rings as Lou asks to try on a ring the owner says that ring is very expensive and costs over $35,000 and if she would be interested in something from the wall collection, Lou says no as she says she wants to try that one, as the guard walks over to check it out Lou pulls out her gun and takes the guards gun as the owner tries to press the panic alarm Lou says she will shoot him if he presses the button as the guard is handcuffed, Lou gets the owner to put the rings in the bag as she tells the owner that she should've just shown her the 'damn ring'. Lou and Reb then go on the run as they get to their car they push an attendant out of the way and get in and start driving, Lou reverses when she is stopped by a garbage truck and takes out several milk crates on the way out, as they celebrate a little early when a taxi crashes into the car, Lou realises that they need to run but Reb says his ribs are busted and he cannot move, Reb tells Lou to go as she will end up back inside and Lou decides to stay with Reb.

When the bus is on it's way to Wentworth, Will is giving a meeting where he says that a lot of officers have met Lou before and those who haven't need to read the file, Linda says that the last thing they need is for her to throw her weight around. Will says that Lou is fearless and very volatile.
On the bus, Lou says that Wentworth will be a walk in the park as Reb looks on scared, as the inmate behind them says that the women will be all over Reb and says she will see him later for a gangbang. Lou says that she's got him and the bus pulls into Wentworth with Linda, Jake and Will walking into the port where the guard on the bus tells them all to stand, as the inmate behind Reb makes one last crude remark before Lou spots the fly that has been bugging everyone the entire bus trip on the window and says to be quiet before she grabs the inmate and smashes her against the bus window as the guards rush on to help, Lou is taken away as she pleads with Will to keep her with Reb, Will says he should've thought about it before she smashed someones face in as Linda stares at the inmate on the bus. Inside Lou tells Jake that she needs to see Reb and he tells her to be quiet as Lou is moved into the prison Boomer who is having a conversation with her crew sees Lou and her face drops she realises that there is trouble coming.
Will asks Allie if she is sure about it and Allie says that she needs to be put in her place before she kicks off, Will tells her that she needs to be careful as she doesn't want to make an enemy of Lou Kelly, Allie says that she intends on keeping all her fingers. Will and Allie walk into the slot as Allie goes into the cell, Lou asks Will when she is getting out, Allie introduces herself and asks if she has been brought food, Lou doesn't respond as Allie says that if she tries anything there will be consequences as she doesn't tolerate violence, Allie also says that she has the women on her side, Lou turns around to the wall as Allie believes she is laughing she goes to grab her arm but Lou tells her she needs a minute.
In the slot Lou is telling Allie that prison is the last place Reb deserves to be in and says that is all her fault as she says that now they have to raise thousands for Reb's surgery and asks how that is fair and Allie says that it is not as Lou asks Allie what is it that she wants because she will do anything for Reb and that he needs to be protected, Allie says that she will talk with Will and Lou thanks her. Ruby is in her cell as she looks at a photo of Rita and her and she realises just how much she misses her.
Reb sits down he has a flashback to how he met Lou at the True Path and Reb tells Lou that there is nothing wrong with him and that he doesn't need help.
Lou is still sitting on the bed in her isolation cell as Will comes in and tells her that she is being released back into general later in the day and Lou asks about Reb and Will says that he is thinking about it, Will then says that if Lou behaves he will think a lot faster, Lou tells him yep and he leaves, leaving Lou behind.
In the dining room, Boomer is talking with another inmate about 'how bad it is' as Lou makes her way into the dining room, Boomer tells everyone to watch their fingers, Lou walks over to the food and thanks Allie for sorting the stuff out with Will and Allie asks if she would like to sit with them, Lou does and joins the table as Ruby introduces herself, Lou says to Boomer that it has been awhile, and says that she just heard about Liz and what she did being 'a beautiful thing', the stunned silence causes Allie to tell her that she is sorry about the food and that it looks worse then it is, Will with Jake oversee dinner and Jake says that Lou is behaving and Will says that he hopes it stays that way.
The elevator opens with Jake and Reb stepping out, as Reb looks around Lou comes up the stairs and the two reunite, Jake says something as Lou tells him that they're coming, Lou then says to Reb that they'll go to their cells.
In the yard, Lou and Reb walk out together as Allie tells them to come over to her, as they do, Allie introduces herself and Ruby, Lou tells Reb that Allie is the Top Dog and is the one who get them both released into general, Reb thanks them, as Lou introduces Reb to Boomer as Lou says her nickname is because she kept coming back to prison, Boomer agrees as Ruby asks Reb if he plays basketball, Reb says that he does and he goes off to play. Boomer gives Reb a disgusted look as he plays basketball as Lou asks if they are going to have a problem, Boomer then questions Lou on why Reb would want to change his identity and if that would be a problem for her, Allie tells her to stop as Boomer says it was a genuine question as Lou looks on.
Boomer walks into the showers as she gets her stuff ready she drops something and when she goes to pick something up, she realises that Lou is behind her, and says 'Hello Boomer' before punching her in the face and having her cronies hold her down. Lou places a plastic bag over Boomer's head and says that it only takes a couple of minutes to suffocate someone and it must of been like how Liz felt when Boomer smothered her, Boomer wets herself as Lou says she would do that too if she knew she was dying, Lou takes the bag off and says if she speaks to Reb like the way she did before she will kill her, Lou leaves as Boomer cries while still on the floor.

Lou and Reb are playing a game of cards in their unit when Allie comes in with Boomer and Ruby and Allie tells her to stand up. Allie tells her that she knew that there would be consequences for her actions, as Reb asks what is going on Allie tells Reb that Lou has been threatening people and she should apologise for it, Lou calls Boomer a 'fucking baby' as Allie tells her crew to grab Lou, they do and wrangle her to the table where Allie tells Lou to apologise again, and Allie is handed a pair of shears and tells Lou that she used to be called Fingers and wouldn't it be ironic if she lost one of hers and when she doesn't apologise she tells Allie that she is not Top Dog material and is just a pair of lips with eyelashes, Allie finally cuts off Lou's pinky finger as Lou screams in pain, Allie walks off.
Lou learns from Reb that he has been off Testosterone so long his period has come back. Lou makes a plan to get some off her brother Travis Kelly, but is busted by Jake Stewart. Lou and Reb later in the yard find out that the food supplier will go back to the old supplier messing up their idea to bring in T through the old supply. When Reb has an allergic reaction Lou goes back to Reb's cell and finds out that he has taken the entire vial of steroids that Lou bought off Zaina Saad. Lou is watching over the prisoners who are coming from the protection unit, and watches on as Zaina attacks Marie in the dining room. Lou speaks with Reb in medical and promises she will get something done for him. Lou makes a shiv and goes to the showers to attack Ruby Mitchell, only to be stopped by Marie and Reb telling them that they need to leave. Lou later talks with Ann Reynolds who tells Lou that she will supply Reb's HRT treatment because Ann knows how much Lou loves Reb.
When Marie is moved into her unit, Lou tells Marie that she wants her on her crew. Lou makes a deal with Ann Reynolds to find out who sabotaged her presentation. Lou finds out and writes the drop down. Lou yells at Marie after challenging her, and gathers in the laundry when the protection unit prisoners are moved to the laundry. Lou agrees to Marie's plan to start selling LSD as a way to make money quicker without threatening more donors for money. Lou is approached by Judy Bryant who wants to use her phone. She even offers to pay double for the use but Lou declines her offer. Lou meets with Ann Reynolds who wants her to protect Joan Ferguson after she has been released back into general. Lou isn't too keen on the idea but Ann is very persuasive when she reminds Lou about Reb's future transition. Lou welcomes Joan with open arms but also warns her to leave Reb alone or Lou will kill her. Lou learns with Reb that someone from the Cult they were in has been arrested for questioning and Lou tells Reb that she'll fix it. After Reb's session with Dr Miller that ended badly, Lou comes up with a plan to get rid of him. She wants Joan to slip some rat poison into Miller’s coffee during a counselling session. Lou hands out LSD to the women when they are allowed to go for meals in the dining room. Lou later incites the riot in the laundry and is slotted as Allie Novak lags on Judy's information that Lou bashed Ann.
Lou is still in the slot, but is later released by Ann, who reveals to Lou that it was Allie who lagged on her. Lou learns from Reb that Sheila Bausch is in Wentworth. Lou confronts Sheila where Sheila reveals that Lou watched some of Reb's therapy. Lou is furious when Reb's phone goes missing and she talks with Joan and in the confrontation smashes the glass containing Joan's goldfish and later gives her brother a call where he reveals there is no money in Lou's account. Lou bashes Allie when Reb says that he saw Allie come out of their unit. Lou reveals to Reb that she was the one who set fire to the True Path retreat. Lou goes to shiv Allie in the showers but finds out she has already been attacked and she then leaves.
Season 8 Part 2
In episode one, Lou talks with Boomer about how Allie is returning to the prison and says to Boomer that it must be disappointing and later make fun of Sheila and Marie talking in the yard when Linda Miles tells them both the police wish to speak with them on a different matter to the Allie attack. The police question Lou and Reb about the 'True Path' and lie to the police saying that they had both left the retreat before it burned down. Later in the yard Judy goes after Lou for the attack, Lou laughs about it. Later Lou and Reb are sedated and drugged by Sheila while Allie announced she was stepping down as top dog. Later Lou and Reb have sex in their cell and when they are both unconscious Sheila comes into the cell and garrotes Reb. When Lou wakes up she screams trying to rouse Reb but she cannot.
In episode two, Lou is taken away by the guards after Jake calls a code black. Lou has to be pepper sprayed into dropping her shiv. Lou tells Will that she needs to see Reb, but his body had already been taken away. Will tells Lou she'll need to submit for a blood test. Lou later blames Allie for his murder, but Allie tells her she would go after her and not Reb. Lou walks away and argues with Marie about it. Lou later breaks down during the night and Marie tells her she understands what she is going through. Later when Lou learns off of Will that they were both sedated and had drugs in the their systems, she attacks Zaina Saad who tells her she didn't sell drugs to Ruby but sold them to Marie. Lou attacks Marie and when Lou finds out it was Sheila who killed Reb, Lou makes a bold plan, after finding the rat poison in Marie's cell, Lou corners Sheila in the broom cupboard and tells Sheila to drink the poison or get her throat cut, Sheila drinks the poison and Lou watches her die. When Marie comes in she can't deal to watch and they both end her by killing her with a broom. Lou later tells the entire dining room Sheila is dead and she is taken away by guards declaring herself top dog.
In episode three, Lou is still in the slot when Ann comes in angrily asking her what revenge achieved. Lou responds saying that Sheila killed the person she loved more then anything and she would've done the same. Ann tells Lou she's being released back into general and that there has been a vote for top dog. Lou returns to the compound and dumps desert on Boomer's head and says that she challenges her right to reply to the vote by a shiv fight in the laundry. Lou talks with Marie about not getting too go for Reb's funeral claiming his mother would've buried him in a dress. Lou says she feels guilty she couldn't be there for him. When a drug test is called Mandy says she needs clean urine and Lou spots Rita and swaps the tests when they see Rita being chained to a Restraint Station, Lou tells Mandy to get everyone ready in the laundry. Lou wins the shiv fight in the laundry and shivs Boomer multiple times, telling her to call it or she'll kill her, Boomer gives up top dog. Lou talks with Ann and flies off the handle and tells her it is her fault that she closed protection so someone like Sheila Bausch could roam the corridors free and she knew she was in for trouble. When Ann purposely misgenders Reb saying that his death was her fault, Lou goes after Ann but is taken away by a guard who then chains her to the station. Lou is last seen in her cell talking to Marie, Lou says that she is gonna kill everyone.
In episode four, Lou is first seen in the yard playing basketball with her crew. She is later seen when Eve is inducted into Wentworth and screams at Eve to get out of Reb's cell. Lou is in the yard again when Judy is put on a Restraint Station when someone throws urine at Ann Reynolds (Wentworth), Judy asks if she is gonna do anything about it Lou says no. Lou is later seen reading a later from Reb's mother, when Marie asks if the grief was talking when she said she was going to 'kill everyone' Lou agrees in a way and continues to read the letter. Lou is attacked by Allie and under nitrous oxide she tells Allie that she was already stabbed when she went in to kill her. Lou says it was Judy. Later Lou burns the tombstone photo that Reb's mother sent her.
In episode five, Lou is first seen in the dining room when she walks past Allie, and later that day is in her cell again crying over Reb, Marie tells her she can't keep doing this as she misses Reb to. Later when the women all find out that Judy is the one who stabbed Allie and stole Reb's money, Lou says to Judy who wants a deal for protection that she can pay her back, Lou says it wont bring back Reb. Later after Judy is taken to medical, the women attempt to drown Judy and when Judy offers Lou a deal she can't refuse, she later tells Lou that they will bomb their way out of Wentworth.
In episode six, Lou calls Judy's contact and relays the orders given by Judy, but instead says to park the vehicle outside the officers staffroom and for the bomb to be at least 5kgs to maximise damage. Lou tells Judy she is promised protection under her but she wants to move units. Lou tells Joan to move out of the unit and she refuses. Lou tells Marie to find Zaina's phone. Lou later in the dining room almost eats Eve's eye when it is found in her jelly.
In episode seven, Lou is first seen being confronted by Linda who tells her that if she so much as "farts in her direction" she will come down on her. Lou confronts Marie about it and said that she didn't know anything about it. Lou later finds out after burning Joan's hand that she wasn't the mole and it was in fact Marie. Lou hits Marie in the yard and Lou has Marie moved out of her unit.
In episode eight, Lou learns of Marie's recording on her phone when she is listening to the recordings. Lou talks with Judy and tells her to calm down. Later Lou feeds Rita to the inmates when she plays the recording that finally exposes her as a cop.
In episode nine, Lou makes a statement against Rita In the exercise yard, that anyone who sides with Rita is in danger of her and her crew, Lou is told by Rita that the club the Conquerors are set to beat up Travis. Lou learns off of Officer Nathan Green about when her phone calls were cut off. Later Lou sets a trap for Rita but ends up being Ruby Mitchell instead, Lou commands her crew to bash Ruby and walks off, a few moments later when Marie comes to Ruby's aid, Lou emerges from the shadows now wielding a kitchen knife, she disarms Marie and after saying "This is for Reb", she kills Marie with the kitchen knife and leaves one of her crew members Mandy Frost to take the blame
In episode ten, Lou is first seen telling Allie that Mandy Frost wasn't the one who killed Marie it was her. Lou later tells Judy that the bomb plan is still going ahead so all the "women can pay for Reb's death". Rita and Lou later are slotted after they both get into a punch on, where in the slot Rita tells Lou that hope still exists in prison and that what happened to Lou was awful. When the prison explodes Rita makes it out of the slot and leaves Lou in the slot. Lou is later seen running for the fence in No Man's Land. Lou is then stopped by Rita and beaten. Rita puts Lou under arrest. Lou is hauled and taken to the police by Linda and another guard. Lou watches on as the women rejoice when Allie is found.
Lou's last lines are "Get me out of here."
