"He had a shrine to you, all over the wall.''
Iman Farah was a former inmate of Wentworth Correctional Centre.
Iman was a refugee from a war torn country who moved to Australia for a better life. While undergoing treatment for PTSD, she met Mike Pennisi and formed a relationship with him.
Things took a dramatic turn when Iman killed Mike because he was enamoured with Franky Doyle (Wentworth) after her assault on him. So much to the point where Iman tore down a photo shrine of Franky which annoyed Iman.
Iman was arrested and sent to Wentworth on a mission to kill Franky, but ended up killed herself when Joan Ferguson snapped her neck.
It is revealed that Iman had moved all of Mike's stuff to a lock up garage which included the photo shrine.

Jake leaves and has to listen to Lucy saying that he wants her Jake replies 'like a dose of the clap' and Lucy jokes saying that Stella might oblige. Jake says they have a new inmate Iman, Lucy introduces herself and tells Iman that she 'loves caramel milkshake', Iman tells Lucy to stay away from her and Lucy replies that she'll keep.
Doreen is looking at photos of Nash and Josh and she is teary over them, when she is interrupted by Iman who asks if she is the person she is looking for, Doreen says she is and Iman says someone told her she was the peer worker. Iman tells Doreen she needs legal help to get out of Wentworth and Doreen tells her that's what her lawyer is for and she may have to wait, Iman says she doesn't want to wait she just wants to get out of Wentworth, Doreen agrees with that and the two talk.
Iman and Joan play pool in the library as Joan tells Iman that Lucy is the leader of 'The Boys' and that Lucy is a pig but is a useful ally, when Doreen overhears Joan asking Iman to give some thought about joining that crew she rushes to Franky who is talking with Boomer after Boomer finishes up in the workshop for the day. Doreen tells Franky that Iman needs help as she is about to be attacked by Lucy, Franky says it's up to Kaz but Doreen says Kaz won't do shit. Franky and Boomer agree to help.
Iman returns to her unit with Joan and Lucy's crew Joan tells Lucy to make her feel welcome and make her a cup of tea before she disappears to her cell, Lucy asks Iman how she has her tea and she says with a sugar, Lucy says she has the same but today she'll have hers 'black' the boys hold and drag Iman back to her cell and placed on the bed, Lucy then says 'You wanna know why they call me Juice?', before she assaults Iman, Franky and Boomer make their way into the unit and Boomer punches Stella in the face and Franky helps Iman by grabbing Lucy's face and Franky tells her to back off or go another round, Lucy says no and Franky calls her a piece of shit. Will walks in and asks what the hell is going on and Lucy comes out of the cell saying everyone will keep, Will tells Lucy to come with him as she is going to see the governor.
S5 ep 9[]

Iman tells Franky that all her friends and family are dead
Iman tells Franky that she is 'pretty much stuffed' and Franky asks her if she gave her notes to her lawyer, Iman said she did and that 'there wasn't much in it' Franky tells her that just because her lawyer rolled doesn't mean she has to. Franky then says since there is no internet in Wentworth she will have to get someone to bring them in, Iman says that it isn't going to happen as Franky pushes it and Iman reveals that her family and her friends are all dead so she can just stop trying to help her and she storms off. As Iman walks out of the unit Linda walks into the unit and tells Liz that there is someone here to see her and she asks who it is Linda replies and says "do I look like a PA?" and says that it is a detective here to see her.
Franky is in her cell looking at her necklace when Iman knocks on the door and she offers an apology for the way she went off at her before and Franky says that it is fine, Iman explains and says that she just doesn't like being fenced in. Franky says that Wentworth must feel like a hotel to her compared to the camps she had been in, Iman jokes and says she "misses" the malaria, dirty water and the guards 'tucking people in the same way'. Franky says that they are pigs and Iman says that her mother had protected her from all the things there until she died, Franky asks her how she isn't angry and says that she would be out for blood. Iman says that it was 'just a body' and that there were 'many' in the camps but prison is different as they have to protect their hearts and if they can protect that then they are 'free'. Iman then tells Franky she can't get the posts she wants and Franky tells her that they will find another way.

Iman stole Franky's necklace to ruin Franky's chance of freedom
As Franky is in her cell reading Iman Farah's posts and she is marking the names of all the people who wrote things on her wall including Mike Pennisi's post and she underlines the name as Franky reaches for her necklace and she realises it isn't there she worries. As Iman is in her cell she reaches over to the curtain and reveals that she has stolen Franky's necklace. Iman has played everyone.
