Dr. Eric Weissman is a recurring psychiatrist called into Wentworth Detention Centre by governors Erica Davidson and Ann Reynolds to examine several of the inmates throughout the series.

He is also reintroduced as a referral in court on behalf of Bea Smith during her state of amnesia.
Eric declares Kate Peterson insane after she attacks Judy and has a complete breakdown in the pound and he has her committed due to her having schizophrenic tendencies and that she may never recover from her breakdown.
His first name, Eric, was first mentioned in episode 314 by Ted Douglas.
Eric would last be seen talking with former prisoner Reb Kean after Reb is released from prison due to her treatment that she received at Blackmoor..
