Carol ends up having a visit with her daughter, which her daughter speaks with her saying that 'you murdered my daddy.' and doesn't say anything else to her mother. Carol is left devastated and is seen as such when Joan takes her back to her cell. She is later found hanged in her cell by Joan Ferguson and [[Ann Reynolds]]. Joan takes it on herself to inform Carol's daughter Jill of her mothers death.
