As the code black is called for the psych unit the true extent of the damage is shown. Jodie has damaged her eye, bloodied and broken down Jodie (off-screen) bit the nurse. Vera asks Bridget if she knows what happened, Bridget says she doesn't know how it happened, Jodie is taken to medical for treatment, as Vera finds a pencil under the bed.

Ferguson is reading the report as she speaks with Bridget about what happened. Bridget says that the staff in the psych unit said they saw her go to the psych unit where she says that Jodie was far from being released back into general and was worried about her looks and says that damaging her sight was probably the only way she could do something. Bridget says that she had been progressing well until Ferguson had seen her, and that she had just brought charges against her. As Bridget leaves the room Vera says to Ferguson that she must now need to exclude herself from Level 3 procedures as her Hep C Status compromises her.

As Franky is studying in the library she and Bridget talk privately about Jodie Spiteri, Franky asks if Ferguson did do it, Bridget reckons 'in a way' she had, Bridget asks Franky about what happened in the slot and if what happened to Bea were connected and she agrees that is starting to believe it. Vera catches them both talking.

Vera and Bridget talk in the kitchen and she asks her if the rumours between them were true, Bridget tells Vera that what they spoke about was in fact confidential. Vera tells her if she had any integrity she would resign, Bridget says to her that anyone can plant rumours about anything and so she says Jodie had several visits from Ferguson during her time in the slot, including being told to shiv Bea, and the day she gauged her out. Vera tries to deny any wrongdoing from Ferguson and claims it is a 'benefit to the women'.

Where she is arrested by Senior Detective Collins and Detective Hydari who inform Westfall that Doyle needs a doctor and inform Westfall that her involvement could get her 10 years for aiding and abetting, but Collins also says he can make the charge go away if she cooperates, which she refuses and says that they'll have to charge her. Bridget is then seen at the hospital after Franky is re-arrested and says to her that 'she did good'.
