Bessie Holland is most noted for their stellar line up of stand out theatrical performances.
Holland has performed for many of Australia’s leading theatre companies, including Malthouse Theatre, Melbourne Theatre Company and Sydney Theatre Company. Productions include Accidental Death of an Anarchist, The House of Bernarda Alba, Blaque Showgirls, Summertime in the Garden of Eden, The Sovereign Wife, Cosi and The Lower Depths. In 2019 she reprised the role of Cherry in Cosi for Melbourne Theatre Company and Sydney Theatre Company, which earned her a Sydney Theatre Award nomination for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role.
Bessie played the role of Stella Radic on Wentworth season 2 to season 6.
Holland appeared in Fisk and Wakefield in 2021. Holland also appeared in the second season of Fisk, The Tourist and Irreverent.
