Boomer sees her mother for the first time in years, while Marie finally learns the truth about what happened to her son.

Marie discovers that Ruby killed her son and is hellbent on making her pay after a note is found during a ramp of the compound. The note 'Ruby is the Killer' is found by Jake during the ramp and he hands it over to Vera who tells Marie that she cannot hide from it. Marie says she recognises the handwriting but that's it..
Marie talks with Allie and says that the note is Zara Dragovich's and it is her handwriting and that Rita killed Drago because she knew about it. Allie tells Marie she will speak with Ruby.
Allie speaks with Ruby and Ruby denies she killed Danny again, but after a change of heart, Allie learns what really happened. Ruby, Rita, see Marie and tell Marie the entire truth of what happened to Danny, Marie refuses to believe the story but Ruby says it's all true.
Boomer is told by Greg Miller (Wentworth) that her day release has been approved. Boomer is worried that she will stuff it up as she hasn't been outside of Wentworth in years.
Linda releases Boomer into May Jenkins' care and tells her "good luck" as she walks back into the prison.
When Boomer and May catch up after years of not seeing each other, it is revealed that May runs a business online. Boomer goes through old photos and finds one of her and the happier times she had with her family. Boomer has an argument with May where she tells May that she as Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and it is all her fault.

Later May tells Boomer they're going to go shopping as she needs stuff but they'll go and get ice-cream first. After May and Boomer get ice-cream they go to the supermarket where May tells Boomer to wait. Boomer catches the eye of the 'hot trolley guy' but is interrupted when May rushes out with stolen goods.
May and Boomer are arrested and spend the night in the Frankston lockup before they are both transferred back to Wentworth. Boomer tells Greg that she had nothing to do with her Mum's involvement in the stealing and is regretful.
Jake is suspended from duty for a 'sustained campaign of sexual harassment' complaint lodged by Sean Brody after Jake refuses Sean's advances. Jake is told that he is to leave the prison while an investigation takes place.
Ruby collapses as her aneurysm bursts.
Marie drugs Ruby Mitchell (Wentworth) with Rohypnol while the inmates eat in the dining room, they are introduced to May Jenkins who gets a 'warm' welcome from the inmates. After Ruby leaves the dining room she begins to feel ill, Rita tells Linda Miles that Ruby needs to go to medical. Ruby is watched in medical and later released.
Boomer takes her mother to her unit and tells her rules, as Ruby returns, May is told not to press the panic button, but she does anyway. This causes Ruby to collapse as her brain aneurysm has ruptured.
