Sonia realizes her time is ticking, and when a power failure hits the prison Sonia takes the rash decision to end Liz once and for all.
Will walks down the hall as Kaz calls him over and she tells him that he needs to be there during work unit as she needs to do something, he asks what is going on and Kaz says that Allie has been framed and it needs to look like she is doing something, Will nods and walks off as does Kaz.
Vera is in her office overlooking the footage in the yard, when she comes across the evidence she needs, she realizes that Sonia has played everyone when she sees on camera that Sonia hid the evidence in the garden.
Will screams at a Ferguson hallucination
As the women are in the laundry doing work unit Linda looks at Kaz who nods for her to leave, Linda leaves as Will stands outside in the hall and Jake asks if he is okay and he says he is but wants him to check on what's taking so long to get the power and heating back on before stepping into the elevator. Kosta walks into the laundry and says that they should hurry up and do what they came to see, Ruby attempts to stand up for Allie and Allie tells her that it is okay, the power suddenly goes as Will is in the elevator and the power cuts off there. A PA call goes out telling people to stay where they are as Kosta says to hurry up and get on with it, Kaz looks at Allie who walked over to the press as Will attempts to call for help in the elevator but can't get through on the radio as Sonia tells Allie not to worry as she tells the women in the laundry that Kaz is a lagger and has an arrangement with Will who came in and broke up their last fight and Kaz tells everyone that Sonia is trying to discredit her because she knows that Sonia killed Sharon. Allie puts her hand into the press as everyone watches. Will begins to have a hallucination and he uses the call button to figure out why there is no power, the person responds by saying it should be a few minutes. Sonia tells the women that she is delaying as Kaz moves her hand toward the bar as Will begins to hallucinate Ferguson in the elevator telling him "officer needs assistance". Allie tells Kaz to do it as Kaz steam presses Allie's hand Will screams at Ferguson in the lift as Allie's hand is burned the power comes back on, with Kaz calling Sonia a liar, everyone leaves as Kaz tells Sonia that Spike gets out of the slot in the afternoon and she will see her then. Boomer walks over and says if everything is alright and Sonia says that it is fine and Boomer says that she heard Kaz says that she was the one who killed Sharon and Sonia says that she hopes that Boomer doesn't believe it. Sonia then tells Boomer that she needs to protect her. Allie is in medical having her hand bandaged as Nurse She says "falling into the steam press" is new, as Marie tells her to do her job, as Allie tells her that she needs some painkillers, Shen looks at Marie who nods and Shen walks over to the paperwork for it and Marie holds Allie says that she is shaking and Allie says that she is ok, Marie says that she is clearly not after what happened, Allie tells her that is the way things work.
Will walks down the hall, as Kaz pushes him against the wall and says that Allie is in medical because of him and Will says that he couldn't help it because the power in the elevator went out, Kaz tells him that he is a mess and needs to get his shit together.
Sonia realizes her plan has failed after CCTV footage shows her planting evidence
Sonia is walking with Boomer down the hallway as she tells her that she doesn't know what she would've done without her, Jake spots Sonia and tells her that the governor wants to see her, Sonia looks at Boomer and says that Vera may of heard from the DPP and walks off with Jake as Boomer waves bye to her.
Sonia is sitting in Vera's office as she asks if the DPP have called and wants to be moved into protection immediately. Vera says that they haven't called but she wants her to explain the CCTV footage of her hiding the murder weapon in the garden before the cell toss. Vera then tells Sonia that she was the one who murdered Sharon and framed Spike for it as she was the one who tipped the guards of the weapon and planted the evidence. Sonia then says that she wants her lawyer and Vera tells her that there will be plenty of time for lawyers as the police will investigate and charge her with murder then and only then will she go into protection permanently, Sonia looks on realizing her plan has come undone.
Sonia walks through the corridors as she looks around, Vera radios Linda who is on shift in the slot, Vera tells her that she wants Spike Baxter released from the slot and returned to her unit, Linda goes quiet as Vera wants her to confirm it, as Linda responds that Spike has already been released from the slot 10 minutes prior, Vera looks on stunned as Sonia runs into Spike who is holding the knuckle dusters and tells her to look at what she found in her cell, Spike punches Sonia in the face.
Sonia wakes in medical after being hit by Spike
Sonia wakes in medical with Sonia asking what happened and Vera tells her that she is in medical after being attacked and hitting her head and she asks who did it. Vera nods to the detectives standing outside and they both come in and Detective Sutton says that they want to question her over the murder of Sharon Gilmour, Sonia fakes amnesia and says who is it. Vera tells the detectives that she is obviously faking it and Michael Armstrong asks if she is a doctor now, Vera says that Sonia is just buying time for the DPP to withdraw their charges against her and Sutton says that they still need a statement. Armstrong tells Vera that Sonia's progress from her concussion should be monitored and she should fix the heating.
Marie catches up with Will and asks when the heating is coming back on and he says in about an hour, as she thanks him for overlooking her outburst before and says that he could've just put her in the slot, Will says to forget about it and Marie asks Will if he is okay because he looks terrible and realizes that he has taken drugs, Will says that he isn't sleeping well and Marie tells him that she was the same when Danny died and she was a mess, Will asks how she got through it and Marie says that she would take uppers and downers and anything that would get her through the day. She tells him to look after himself and walks off as Will walks off himself.
Kaz tells Allie she wants to put Sonia on Kangaroo Court
Allie is in her cell as Ruby comes in and sits down next to her and asks if she heard about Sonia and says that she was the one who killed Sharon and says that it is crazy. Allie says that she was right there when they were playing basketball and Ruby asks if she reckons that Sonia was the one who planted the phone, Allie says she probably planted it to get close to Kaz. Ruby then says she could've hit Kaz for what she did to her and Allie doesn't really say anything as Ruby says that she got her chocolates and Allie makes her open one. Kaz says hello as Ruby says "if it isn't the steam cooker" and asks if she has come to burn Allie's other hand. Allie says that it is ok and if she could give them a minute. Ruby leaves as Kaz sits down next to her and apologizes, Allie tells her not and that it had to happen sooner or later. Kaz then tells her to look at her, Allie tells Kaz that the women want her to do something, Kaz says that she can't because Sonia is in medical, and Allie tells her to find a way because Sonia can't keep getting away with everything and says that where is the justice.
Boomer walks with Will and the maintenance man and says that she wants to go an see Sonia as she would believe it was her fault as she didn't protect her, Will says that she can't see her because she is in medical and tells her to piss off, Boomer then says that he is fucked.
Liz is taken into medical where Linda says that she has five minutes with Sonia. Sonia tells Liz at least she didn't bring tea, Liz says that she is there as peer worker to make sure that she is ok, Sonia asks her if she even looks ok and Liz just says nope. Sonia tells her that it is all Liz's fault and that she thanks her for the inspiration, Liz tells her that she had everything including money and power and she risked it all to hurt people and kill people over and over again. Sonia tells Liz that she settled in her life and says that Liz is a stepping stone on the ladder of success, Liz says that she doesn't think it is fun up there. Sonia then says that greatest control was deciding on when it ends and says it is an urge. Sonia tells Liz that she should've killed Liz when she had the chance instead of Sharon, Liz says that Sharon deserves justice and Sonia laughs at that before saying that she had forgotten everything she had just said. Liz stares at her as she walks out of medical.
Sonia realises she has been played and is formally charged with Sharon Gilmour's murder
As Liz is escorted out of medical by Linda, Linda opens the door to another room as Liz unzips her jacket and takes out and gives it to the officer and says that she knew that Sonia couldn't resist bragging about what she had done. Vera tells her that she just did a good job. Moments later the police go into medical where Sonia is and announce that Sonia is finally formally being charged for Sharon Gilmour's murder as her conversation was recorded, Sonia looks at Liz through the window and she taps her temples, Sonia realises that she has just been played, Sonia finally realises what this means to her stares at the ceiling.
Liz contemplates her win against Sonia
In her cell Liz is staring into the void as Kaz tells her that as soon as Sonia gets out of medical that she is finished and that she will end up going into protection, Kaz tells Liz that she did a good job. Liz then says that she thinks it is weird that Don is in the prison. Kaz tells her that Don isn't in the prison, and that she will make her a cup of tea. Kaz walks out of the cell as Liz sneaks out and runs into Boomer as Liz asks where she could find Don, Boomer plays along and tells her that she can find him on the roof. Boomer insults Liz as Liz goes through a security door.
Marie is standing in the education corridor as Zara meets her. Marie asks if she has any news, Zara says that she made a call to Lukas and he is going to come in in the following days. Marie asks if there is any news on Danny because that is all she wants and Zara tells her that she can only make so many calls and then asks if Marie is ok, Marie walks away and over to Kosta, Marie tells her that she needs some gear, and Kosta says that she thought Marie had her own stash, Marie asks if she has it or not, and Kosta tells her to take a chill pill, the raised voices bring Will over and asks if everything is alright.
Will has a Ferguson vision after Marie breaks down in front of him
Will asks Marie if she is ok as he spotted her with Kosta and Marie says that she needs to be anywhere else, Will takes Marie to the boiler room and asks if everything is ok and Marie says that she tries her best but it isn't enough, Will asks if Kosta upset her and Marie says no but it is about her son, and Will says that he is sure the doctors did everything they could for him as Marie wonders if he could've survived if he went to the states, another hospital or a better specialist and says that all she wants to do is hold him one last time and she just replays the memory of her son lying in the hospital bed. Will says that he understands and that he knows, as the two look at each other. The two end up having sex as Will is haunted by visions of Ferguson watching him.
In medical as Nurse Shen is doing paperwork, Sonia 'falls' out of the bed and onto the floor as Shen goes to help her she asks her if she thinks she has hit her head, and Sonia lies and says that she thinks that she did as Shen helps her back on to the bed and helps her lay back down, as Shen leaves to get the doctor, Sonia sits back up and reveals that she has stolen Shen's swipe card, Sonia makes a run for it to find Liz.
Sonia goes to the roof to find Liz
Liz walks through the prison looking for Don as she makes it to the maintenance floor, she spots the worker and confuses him for Don and he looks at her confused and Liz asks if he has seen him and he ignores her. Liz sees the door open and she goes up to the roof. Sonia walks to the phones and sees Boomer who says that she should of been there for her and Sonia says if she has seen Liz and Boomer says that she went the other way and said that Liz was trying to psych her out by saying that she thought Don was on the roof, Sonia walks away with Boomer asking if she needs her and Sonia says Boomer needs to stay there, as Sonia realises she needs to go to the roof and she walks away.
Vera is in her office as her radio goes off with Jake saying that Sonia is at large and she has a swipe card, and Vera asks how the hell did that happen and Jake says that she stole it, Vera tells them to order a lockdown and try to find Liz. The prison goes into lockdown for a Code Aqua, as Sonia is on the maintenance floor she goes through the door and up to the roof as Will and Marie finish up and Will returns to duty he walks over to Kaz and asks if she has seen Liz, Kaz says no and they realise she is in trouble, Will tells Kaz to go back to her unit and wait, Will walks away as Kaz goes and runs off to find Liz.
Sonia finally having enough of Liz plans to take her out
Liz is standing on the roof as the prison is going into lockdown, she overlooks the city and is off in her own world when Sonia comes through the fire escape and sees Liz standing there, she spots a wrench and she picks it up and slowly walking over to Liz, Liz manages to turn around and Sonia quickly puts the wrench behind her back and Liz asks her if she has seen Don, Sonia lies and says that he has a 'nice big surprise' for her and she swings the wrench at her and Liz tries to protect herself as the swings keep on coming. Kaz comes to the rescue and she pushes Sonia away from Liz and tells her to drop the wrench. Liz looks on as Sonia tells Kaz that no one can look after Liz the way she can and that Kaz cannot protect Liz forever. Kaz tells her to drop the wrench again before Sonia tells Liz that she is hers, Sonia attempts to rush over to Liz but is pushed by Kaz over the ledge and onto the ground below killing her instantly.
Kaz admits she just killed Sonia
As Liz and Kaz look over the edge of the building, Will comes out from the stairwell and tells them to move away from the edge. he walks over to them and asks where Sonia is and he takes a look over the edge to see an officer walking over to her dead body as Will asked what happened, Liz tries to put the blame on herself but Kaz says that she was the one who did it and she was the one who killed Sonia Stevens.
