Marie Winter is inducted into Wentworth as history repeats for Allie. With no leads in Gilmour's murder, Vera asks for help.

The prison van arrives at Wentworth were the doors open and Marie Winter is being escorted into the prison as Will and Vera watch the video that landed her in prison, as Vera says that is Marie Winter who owned a lot of the strip clubs in Melbourne and that she is a clean skin on remand awaiting trial for the assault on a doctor. As Linda Miles escorts her to the strip search room. She was arrested for a violent assault on the doctor who was looking after her son. Marie's flashbacks include her talking with her son while he is in a coma and says to him that the football team need him back on the field, as the doctor delivers the news that he is brain dead Marie attacks the doctor who had told her to turn off his life support as he was never going to get better nor wake up. Will inducts Marie and says that the prison was informed of her arrival and that he is sorry for her loss.

Marie is in the governors office as Vera introduces herself and says that new inmates normally go into general population but for her she would recommend going into the protection unit to protect her. Marie says that she isn't a violent person and Vera says that she was arrested for a violent assault. Marie says that she doesn't have any enemies and Vera says that there may be working girls in the prison that she may know and Marie tells Vera that if she had a child that she would also do anything for them Vera tells Marie that she has set her up with a peer worker in Liz who tells Marie that she will be housed in H3.

Rita and Ruby are doing some boxing training as Linda brings in the new group of prisoners through the exercise yard and as they are being escorted through, the women are playing basketball in the yard, as Sonia and Boomer watch an inmate trying to decipher what Lucy is telling her, as the women realise one of the new inmates is Marie, Allie notices as she pulls Kaz over and tells her that she isn't going to believe who has been inducted.

Marie and Liz make it out of the airlock as they talk and Liz asks if Marie is famous and she says that she hardly is and that the women would just know her. They make it and Liz says welcome to H1 as Marie says that the governor said H3 and Liz realises that the governor did say that and she apologises and walks her to her new unit.

Vera tells Will that she has put Marie into general and that she also wants the workshop dismantled immediately because she doesn't want any notion of it being reopened again. Will says that after everything that has happened no one would question it. Vera tells Will that he is the one who has to get women together to dismantle it and Will refuses saying that Jake can do it as Will says he has had a shocker of a week and Vera tells him she is the only one he trusts to do it. Will goes to the lockers and takes some pills. In the dining room, the women are talking about Franky's new found freedom and they all think about what she would be doing and Boomer jokingly says that she already knows, Boomer talks with Ruby and asks if she is ok after her fight and Ruby says that she is fighting fit and Boomer tells her the she is amazing at what she does. Will comes in and says that he needs volunteers to go into the workshop and he choses Hutch and Radic as Sonia asks what is going on as the women question what is going on.

Will is standing in the workshop as he looks at one of the boxes and has a flashback to burying Joan. Hutch is heard saying that it took balls and Will asks what she said and Hutch says that Ferguson and Franky escaping using the boxes took balls. As Will then hears a furious Sonia asking what is going on and Will tells her that the workshop is being dismantled for good. Sonia asks why and he replies that two escapes and Gilmour's murder are the main reasons and tells Linda to get Sonia out. Vera is in her office as Linda knocks on the door and says that Sonia insisted on seeing her, Vera tells her not to leave as it wouldn't take long. Sonia asks what is going on and Vera says that she is acting on her promise to shut down the workshop as it poses a security risk. Sonia then says she can help Vera with her "PR problem" and Vera says that she doesn't have a problem and Sonia says Sharon Gilmour. Vera asks Linda to leave as Sonia tells Vera that she can help her as she wouldn't want another unsolved murder on her record and Vera reveals that there is only one unsolved murder. Sonia makes a deal with her and says that if she can get Gilmour's murderer she wants the workshop reopened as the prison grapevine can be very handy. Vera then tells her to leave as Vera is left to consider her next move.

Marie is in her unit as many of her former workers give her gifts as Sonia watches on, she stands next to Rita and asks her who does she think she is as one former client Cherry Li gifts her a box of chocolates, as Allie who is doing rounds for laundry sees her and has flashbacks to when Marie found her on the street. Allie walks away as Marie talks to the women.

Liz and Boomer are sitting in their unit as Liz is reading a magazine on a cake recipe and Boomer is sitting on the longue. Marie comes and she hands Liz a box of chocolates to thank her for being so kind to her, Boomer takes them as Marie says that they were for Liz and Boomer tells her that she owes her, Liz says that she doesn't mind. Boomer asks why everyone seems to know her and Marie says that some were previous clients of a business she used to run and Boomer asks what that was before Marie says that she sold sex. Liz says that she wasn't expecting that answer and Boomer yelps out in pain as Marie and Liz walk over to her and see that the chocolates have been laced with razors and it must've been for Marie, as Marie gives Boomer an ice pack she tells Boomer the mouth heals quickly, and as she looks up she spots Allie who runs off, Marie follows her.

Allie walks down the hall as Marie stops her and the two catch up, Marie tells her that she looks so grown up now and is happy to see her. Allie tells her that she is good now. As Marie goes to say something else, Kaz makes herself known and asks if there is a problem and Marie says that they were just catching up, Kaz then asks what she finally got done for and takes a couple of guesses and says that if she finds out she is recruiting she will come down on her hard. Marie says that they were just catching up and it is was good to see her as well and leaves. Kaz tells Allie that she will not let Marie get her hooks into her again and will protect her.

Will is walking around the workshop as it is being dismantled, as he walks around he hears noises coming from the boxes and as he walks over to check it, he opens one and Stella Radic pops up and screams at him, and then "thanks" him for "saving" her as she passed wind and thought she was "dying", Will tells her to get out of the box as Spike and Hutch laugh at his expense and he yells at them to get back to work as Stella struggles to get out of the box, Will looks on.

In the dining room, Marie gets her food and she walks past Boomer and says how is she doing, she doesn't say much as Marie sits down at the table with Ruby. Marie tells Ruby that she seen her training and tells her that she looks like she can handle herself in a fight, Ruby tells her to take a swing to find out, Marie then says that she needs someone to watch her back and Ruby tells her to get a mirror, as Kaz gets up to leave she tells Allie something as she stands behind her and stares, Kaz leaves as Allie pushes her tray away.

Allie is talking with Ruby and says that she needs to be careful with Marie as she messes women over and Ruby says that she is just the muscle because she needs the money and Allie tells her to be careful. As they leave Kaz sees Will and asks how long Marie has got and he says that it is 12 months with 8 for good behaviour and says to be careful of her, Will tells her that Marie seemed genuine and sorry for what she had done, Kaz asks if Marie has sucked him in and he says no, Kaz tells him to be watch out for her.

Marie is in her cell as she smuggled in her USB and tries to find a place in her cell to hide it, she finds a book to hide it in before Kaz comes into her cell as Marie asks what she is doing here and Kaz says that she better get used to it as they are in the same unit. Kaz tells Marie that she warned her against grooming the women in the prison and Marie says that she just needs Ruby for protection and that is it. Kaz says that better be true otherwise she will come back. Marie tells Kaz as she is leaving that she can find out who put razors in her food as Kaz says there would be women lining up to do so. Kaz walks away as Sonia asks if everything is alright and she says peachy as Marie is almost laughing in her cell.

Outside in the yard, the women are playing basketball as Marie watches Allie playing as she sees her playing it reminds her of when Allie played with Danny who played basketball with her, Marie walks over to Ruby and Marie asks her if she was going to score who would she speak to, Ruby points out Kosta who is talking with Lucy.

In Kosta's cell, Kosta gives Marie a baggie and says that it is straight up uncut, Marie goes to grab it as Kosta says she wants payment upfront, before Marie shuts her down and grabs the bag putting it in water and realising that she almost got played, Marie says that she is not buying it and walks out, Kosta asks who she thinks she is the 'golden triangle;.

Vera is in her office as she is on the phone to the board, she is looking at an article that says 'Are crims running Wentworth'. Vera hangs up the phone as Will comes in and says that she wanted to see him, Vera tells him to come and read the article as Vera tells Will that the coroner has called the prison the 'world's worst' practice and wants an enquiry into deaths in custody. Will asks why they are at with the Gilmour murder and Vera says that the police have found nothing, no weapon, no motive and no suspects and they don't have anything to go on.

Sonia is reading in her cell as Vera comes in and she says that it is a pleasant surprise to see her, Vera then asks what she has heard on the grapevine, Sonia then asks if they have a deal and Vera says that she doesn't do deals with prisoners and Sonia says that she knows that and asks if she will reopen the workshop, Vera says that it will reopen with certain provisos which include surveillance and every woman working must have their TAFE certificate, Sonia agrees to the deal as Vera leaves, Sonia walks down the hall and she leaves a note for Will to find.

Marie is in her cell, looking at a photo of her son as Ruby comes in and says that she wanted to see her, Marie says that Kosta's gear is shit and asks Ruby if she would bring in gear for her, Ruby says that she didn't take Marie for a drug user and Marie says that she isn't and Ruby asks why can't she bring it in, Marie tells her that the guards are watching her like hawks and Ruby declines the offer as she thinks about it and says that she will do it.

Jake walks into the unit and tells the women that it is a random cell toss as Ruby comes out of Marie's cell he tells her to get back to her own unit and for all the women to assume the position and stand outside of their cells and Kaz says 'what again', Jake says welcome to the new order and says that they are going to keep tossing cells until they clear out all the contraband. Will walks into the other H block unit and the women complain as officers search for the weapon, Will goes into Spike's cell and search when he finds the weapon as he goes outside he asks Spike how it got there and she says that she didn't know as she is taken away she screams that she has been set up as she says that she loved Sharon and why would she kill her, as she is being taken away past Sonia she smirks.

In the morning, Vera is coming into her office as she sees Linda waiting with Sonia and Vera says that she is early this morning, Sonia says that it is a matter of urgency and Vera tells Linda that she will be fine, Vera tells Sonia to hurry it up as she has a full morning. Sonia sits down and says that she has held up her end of the deal and she hopes Vera can reciprocate her end of the deal, Vera questions her and says that the weapon was found during a cell toss. Sonia says that she was the one who left a note for Will Jackson to find and says that she was the one who left a tip off about knuckle dusters and says that of course it would lead to them finding the murder weapon. Vera says that she will have to verify that with Will and Sonia says of course but when it comes back as correct she wants the workshop back open. Sonia gets up to leave and says that the grapevine can be very handy and asks if they should make it an ongoing arrangement, and Vera tells Linda to take Sonia back to her unit.

In the staffroom Will is at his locker where he takes a pill, and Vera comes in and says good morning to him and Vera says well done on the slotting of Baxter during the night and Will says that they were just lucky as Vera asks why, Will says that they found the weapon by accident and Vera says what was the toss for then and he says that it was an anonymous tip off about knuckle dusters.

Linda is watching the women who are still cleaning up the workshop as Boomer comes in and tells them to 'piss of' as the workshop is back, Linda asks what is going on and Will says that she heard Boomer. Linda tells her lot of women to finish what they are doing and to go, Sonia says 'yes yes, off you go.' as she says that it is good to be back, as Liz says that she doesn't know how she managed to pull that off, and Sonia says that it isn't what you know it is who you know, Sonia tells Liz to do a check on the seedlings as Will tells Sonia to remember the deal, that all the women must have their certificates to continue working, Sonia says that she never reneges on a deal as Boomer is touching the welding equipment as Sonia walks over to tell her that she needs to do the welding test to be able to work in the shop. Boomer says that she is better then the teacher at welding and knows more, while Sonia agrees she says that she still needs to do the test which Boomer asks what it involves and Sonia says that it is a written test and is multiple choice, Boomer says that makes it worse and she refuses to do the test as she walks off Sonia asks where she is Boomer, Boomer retorts saying that is going for a dump and if she needs a certificate for that.

In the visitors centre, Rita meets up with Ray as Rita sees that Ruby is meeting up with Zara Dragovich. Ray tells Rita that he should be the one behind bars and says that he will tell the police everything and says that Rita could get off with good behaviour, Rita tells Ray not to do that as there were witnesses, Ray says that he will pay them off or 'knock them off', Rita tells him not to joke about it, he says that he misses her that much, Rita says that it is only 12 months as she looks over to see Ruby kissing Drago.

Ruby is standing in the hallway after having her visit, as Rita comes in and also has her visit, Linda is calling inmates for a check, as Rita asks who was she seeing as Ruby doesn't say anything, Rita asks again and Ruby spits out a drug baggie and says that she couldn't swallow it, Rita calls her an idiot and swallows the baggie herself as Ruby has to quicky go for a strip search. Back in her cell, Rita throws up the baggie and asks who it was for, Ruby reveals that it is for Marie, and Rita says that if Ruby had gotten caught with the drugs it would have cost her an extra six months. Rita then gives Ruby the drugs and tells her that she is to give it to Marie but it will be the last time, Ruby says that she thought Rita wasn't going to tell her what to do anymore, Rita leaves as Ruby closes the door. Rita goes to Allie who tells her she should've been looking after Ruby which she says she has been and Rita then tells her why is she being Marie's mule.

Allie goes to Marie's unit and goes off at her for using Ruby as a drug mule. Allie tells her that she drags people into her life and gets them addicted to drugs, Marie says that is Kaz's version of events as Allie says that she was just a kid when she took her in and gave her drugs getting her addicted, Marie blames Allie for not being able to control it and says that she was her lover not her mother, Allie then says that she was the adult in the situation, Marie says that she did love her and always did. Marie attempts to console Allie but she storms off.

As the women leave the workshop, Will tells an officer that he will do one final sweep before leave, as Will does he begins to hear noises coming from one of the boxes and he thinks it is Radic playing a trick on him. Will walks over to the box and takes the lid off and sees that there is no one in it and starts to hear Ferguson's voice and he begins to hallucinate, as he has trashed the boxes and the workshop, Jakes comes in and takes the hammer away from him asking him what the hell he is doing, Will says that it is nothing and that he is having bad dreams, Jake tells him to take some sleeping tablets as Will says that it isn't that simple. Jake tells him to stop acting crazy as he will blow it for the both of them as Vera already hates his guts, Will then says at least Jake didn't have to bury someone alive, Jake is stunned as Will says he wasn't going to just shoot and leave her, Jake and Will stand in silence as the room is still very trashed.

During the night, Marie is in her cell as she does drugs and drifts off, she dreams about the time her and Allie slept together as Allie wakes from her own dream.

In the staffroom, Will and Jake are sitting at the table, and Jake says no wonder he can't sleep, and then asks where he buried Ferguson, Will tells him to leave it and the two sit in silence.

Boomer is in the unit reading a magazine as Ruby comes in and asks her if she is going back to the Workshop and Boomer says no, Ruby asks why and Boomer says that it is because she is no longer in charge and says to Ruby that she will find out soon enough, Boomer says that she is stupid and doesn't want the women to know that, Ruby says that she is a stuff up when it comes to taking tests as well and says that she will help Boomer, Boomer then says Ruby doesn't know anything about welding and she needs to pass the WHS test at the same time. Ruby tells her to get a practice test and they will start working on it tomorrow and Ruby walks off with Boomer looking on.

Marie is in her cell when she is confronted by Cherry Li who says that Marie didn't eat her chocolates and asks if Marie remembers her and says that she used to work for her until a client glassed her, Marie says that she is sorry for that and says that she always tried to look after her girls and Cherry says that she isn't one of her 'girls' anymore and when she attempts to attack Marie with her shiv, Rita grabs her and throws her out of the cell and threatens to break her arm if she tries to do anything again. Marie thanks her as Rita learns of Marie's business in 'Gentlemen's Entertainment' and Rita asks if she gets that often, Marie then says if Rita has an opinion on it and Rita says that she doesn't, Marie then asks Rita if she wishes to become her bodyguard as she can handle herself and have a calm head.

Will walks over to the bulletin board to put something on it and Kaz walks over and asks what he did to his hands, Will lies and says that he jammed them in the door and Kaz retorts saying that it must've been 'some door', Will walks off as does Kaz.

Ruby confronts Rita in the hallway and says to her 'Thanks for nothing' an says that Marie just sacked her and she is now her bodyguard, Rita says that she is sorry about that and Ruby says that she needed that money and Rita says that she was doing her a favour and Ruby says to stay out of her life before storming off.

Marie walks back to her unit with Rita in tow as Allie is waiting outside the unit and the two talk. Allie thanks Marie for cutting Ruby loose and Marie says it was no problem and she isn't the "evil woman" she thinks she is. Allie says that she never said that and says that she just wasn't right for her. Marie says that she remembers it a little differently and says that Allie was living in the streets and that she brought her into her home and life, and Allie says to her that she ruined her life and Marie says that she has been punished for that, and Allie says that she will be out of Wentworth soon enough. Marie then reveals that her son, Danny is dead, and that he died alone in hospital as he was king hit after being in a coma. Marie breaks down as Allie hugs her and Kaz looks on from outside.
