On the run Franky finds a vital clue as Sonia returns to Wentworth.

Plot

The women fight in Fight Club in the boiler room

The women are placing bets on a fight in the boiler room as the fight goes on, Kosta asks Lucy how much the fight has made so far as she is happy at the winnings, Greenslade wins the fight, as Ruby is punching the bag in the yard, a flashback plays of her watching Rita sparring opponents as Rita watches on in real time, she tells Ruby that her form isn't bad.

Vera vomits in the sink as she wipes her face and walks back to her office, Jake walks past her and says good morning as she retorts "fuck you" before walking into her office and discussing with Kaz that medical told her about a workplace accident in the laundry and asks if further measures need to be put in place, Kaz says no but they will be adhered to in the future.

In the dining room Allie apologies to Rita for what Kaz and said that it was a bit over the top as she says that whatever the reasoning Spike is a piece of work and probably had it coming to her. As Allie walks over and sits next to Ruby, Allie says that Rita must have the hots for Ruby as she keeps looking at her. Kaz comes in as Allie asks why Boomer is in the slot, as Kaz tells her that she has been charged for attempted murder and put in solitary for being suspected of Sonia's poisoning as Will says that Sonia's tea was spiked the women refuse to believe that Boomer would spike the tea as she is her biggest fan, as Liz looks on realising she is now in big trouble.

Franky is sleeping in her hide out as she wakes to a hobo trying to steal her stuff, as she manages to overpower him she finds a calendar with the initials ZT written on it, Franky pieces it together and she goes off to find more information.

Stevens returns to Wentworth as she arrives back in the brawler, she gets out as Will asks how she is, Sonia tells him that she cheated death, as Vera talks with Sonia she asks her if she had anything to do with the escapes as Sonia denies knowing anything and tells Vera that she should've just let Ferguson hang and says that she hoped she would've had more idea to who poisoned her Vera tells her that the police have just charged Boomer with attempted murder and Sonia confused says she doesn't believe it.

Boomer tells Sonia she wasn't the one who poisoned her

Boomer is sitting in the slot as Linda opens the door and says that she has a visitor but she has a minute to talk with her. Sonia says that it is all she needs. Boomer is excited to see her again as she says she is a site for sore eyes. Sonia tells Boomer that she doesn't respond well to disloyalty and Boomer is confused as Sonia says that she was the one who put liquid nicotine in her tea and Boomer says that she didn't and Sonia mentions they did charge her for it. Boomer tells her that she isn't a lagger and she wouldn't tell them who really did it. Sonia not surprised comes to the conclusion that the guilty person was Liz the entire time.

In the yard, Liz sits down next to Kosta and her crew and asks who is winning the card game, as Kosta nods, Liz is handed something under the table as she grabs it and wishes Kosta good luck, Liz walks away and she unwraps the shiv realising that it might be an insane idea she puts it away as she walks off.

In the wet cells Jake is mopping them as Will checks the paperwork, Jake tells Will that Vera wants to fire him and Will says that he doesn't her. Jake tells Will and says that if that happens who knows what he might do, as Will asks if that is a threat and Jake says that they are in it together and he's in the club too. Will walks off.

In the showers, Ruby is brushing her teeth as Rita walks in and the two talk with Rita saying to her that she should not be hanging around Kaz and her crew because they will just use her to bash people. Ruby says that is the safest option as Rita says that she knows how it works and Kaz is top dog and if she snaps again her sentence will be longer. Ruby tells Rita that she still remembers what happened and she did not forget and then tells Rita to save her lecture and piss off, Rita looks at her as Ruby goes for a shower. As Ruby has her shower the lights begin to flicker as she has a flashback to her accident as she begins to have a seizure. Ruby is found by Allie who helps her through the seizure After helping Ruby in the showers, Allie how often does that happen and if she will be ok, Ruby says that it always looks worse then it is and she will be fine. Ruby tells Allie not to tell anyone as she doesn't want the women to see her as weak.

Franky watches Zoe leave her practice as she drives off, Franky breaks into her office by using the scissors and tools she kept from the escape and she finds the folder of Iman and steals it, Franky leaves.

Rita asks Allie to look out for Ruby

In the laundry Ruby is trying to fold sheets as Allie asks if she is ok and Ruby says that the seizures mess you up a bit as Linda tells her to get on with it Allie gives Linda an excuse as Ruby does something else, Rita talks with Allie asks her if she likes her and Allie says that Ruby is cool. Rita then asks her to keep an eye on her and to keep in check that she does not get involved into fights or problems which could cause a prolonging of her sentence, Allie says that Rita doesn't even know her and why she would ask her, Rita tells Allie that is a decent person and she is going out on a limb. Rita tells Allie that she is Ruby's sister and when Ruby was younger she was involved in a car accident where she received a brain injury and that she needs to watch her just in case she snaps as Rita tells her that it has happened already, Allie realises that Ruby was the one who hurt Spike and not Rita as Rita tells her as she said going out on a limb to protect her.

In the outside gym, Ruby is punching the bag as Kosta and Stella watch her as they walk over Kosta asks if she likes "punching shit" and Ruby asks if she is volunteering, Kosta says that she has something to show her and Lucy will come get her during lunch.

In the dining room Liz is trying to hold her cup but she is really nervous as Rita asks her if she is all good, Liz instead asks if her hand is ok and Rita jokes and says at least she doesn't need stitches as Rita asks where Liz is sitting, Allie talks with Kaz and says that Ruby only has six months of her sentence left and asks if she plans on using her as muscle and Kaz beaming says that she sees how it is and says that she has the hots for Ruby and Allie tries to deny it but says that Bea and her would expect her to move on with her life and be happy and confirms that she won't use Ruby as muscle. As Sonia walks through the door of the dining room she is welcomed back by the inmates as she sits down they ask if the food was any good and Sonia says the prison food is better as someone asks if they were feeding her poison and Sonia says that somebody was as Allie says that she can't believe Boomer would do such a thing and Sonia says that it wasn't her. As Spike goes off at Sharon Gilmour and tells her to stop looking at Ruby or else, Will comes out and tells her to calm down as Lucy gives Ruby the heads up to go with her, Sonia walks into the kitchen.

Lucy takes Ruby to the boiler room as a group of inmates is watching a fight as Ruby asks what is going on, Kosta says that it is a real prison fight and she should join in because she has moves, Ruby says that she isn't a street fighter and Kosta offers her a cut of the bets as the fights are streaming to the dark web, Ruby says no and jokes that she is "gutted", Kosta tells Ruby that if she blabs to Kaz she will be gutted with a shiv, Ruby tells her to let her go and walks out.

Sonia kills who she believes is Liz in the showers

As Liz is in her cell she hides the shiv she was given in her shower gear and she leaves her cell and walks to the showers, Sonia follows her quietly as she believes it is Liz. Sonia goes into the showers and she puts her jacket down as she waits for Liz to finish her show before she leaps in and stabs her many times before washing her hands and leaving to the showers with the weapon in tow, Sonia walks to the yard and buries the fork in the garden before a lockdown is called, as Sonia returns to her unit, Sonia playing dumb asks what is going on and Kaz says it is bad as Rita asks what a code black is Kaz tells her someone is dead as Sonia looks on a guard comes in for a count.

Vera takes a call as she is visiting Bridget to discuss her matter about Jake

Bridget is making dinner as she hears a knock on the door, she opens the door and it is Vera and she is shocked when she sees her on crutches, Vera asks what happened and Bridget tells her she slipped down the stairs and Vera says that she is sorry for giving the police the log book and Bridget says that they came, searched and went and tells her that she has been scanning the news says still no news. Vera tells her she needs someone to talk to, Bridget calls Jake a snake as Vera says that she can handle the blackmail but she reveals that she is pregnant and it is Jake's. Bridget asks her if she wants to have a baby and Vera says that she always used to dream of having a baby and she says that she does not want Jake in her life or the babies. Bridget asks her how many weeks she is and Vera says that she is five weeks and Bridget says that she doesn't have to make a decision right away but to make sure whatever grounds she wants to fire Jake on she must have everything dotted and ticked as Jake would be the type of person to sue her for sexual harassment, Vera rubs her eyes as she gets a phone call from the prison.

Vera sees the body in the shower with the police investigating

Vera returns to Wentworth as a detective is taking photos of the body in the shower, Will asks Vera if she is ok and she asks if they have a weapon, Will says not yet as Vera tells him to order a cell toss as she runs out of the showers, Will looks on as Vera rushes and vomits in a room on the floor, Jake looks up on the security camera and sees that Vera is not coping and he realises that he needs to make things right.

During the night, Franky is in the train car listening to the news and reading Iman's file she stole from Zoe Taylor's office. As she reads the file she finds notes from a session Iman had with Zoe and it says that Iman was overcome with grief and was agitated, Franky makes a call and books an appointment with Zoe under the name of Jenny Blake.

In the morning, the women are having breakfast in the dining room as they complain that they can't use the showers as Sonia comes in complaining that she can't wash her hair or do anything, as Ruby tells Allie that Liz did not come back for the count during the night and wasn't around for morning count either as Kaz is talking with Linda Miles as she tells Kaz to get her food, Kaz walks over to the table as Sonia asks who died and Kaz says that the officers are keeping it under wraps as Allie looks at her and she asks what, Allie says that Liz has been missing since last night and Kaz says that she is going to ask Linda where she is, just as she does so Liz walks through the door to a hug from Allie who asks her where she has been and Liz says that she was in medical and when the lockdown was called she had to stay there and they only just decided to let her out, they ask what she was doing there and Liz says that she had a headache and went to get some tablets, Sonia looks on as she realises that she killed the wrong person. Spike grabs Ruby from behind and accuses her of killing Sharon as Spike is quickly tackled by the guards and taken to the slot as Sonia says that solves the mystery of who died.

Will tells Kaz the killer stabbed the victim 28 times

Will talks with Kaz and asks her if she knows anything, Kaz says no because she has been in lockdown for the past 13 hours and Will tells her that there is a psycho among them and says that the person was stabbed 28 times. Will asks Kaz if it was Mitchell and she says she was with Allie. Will tells her if she finds out anything to let them handle it as Kaz says she is only doing this so she can be ready for Ferguson, Will says that Ferguson isn't coming back as Kaz says bullshit, Will confirms that she isn't coming back as Kaz realises that Ferguson is dead.

Vera is in her office on the phone talking and telling the person on the other side that they have handed over all the information they can about the murder and the escapees, the phone hangs up as Jake knocks on the door and she asks him what does he want, Jake takes the USB out and puts it on the table and Vera asks him if it is more blackmail and Jake says that he can't do it anymore and says that she has enough on her plate and says that she should just sack him and he leaves as Vera puts the USB in her pocket.

Liz confronts Sonia over Sharon's death

Sonia walks back to the her cell as she turns around she sees Liz standing there with a shiv and angrily tells Sonia that she killed the wrong person and calls her a psycho as she says not to take a step closer or she will shiv her, Sonia asks her what is going on and Liz says that she killed Sharon thinking it was her and Sonia says that "Blind Freddy" could see Sharon was at least 10 years younger. Liz tells her to cut the nonsense and says that Sonia forgot that she said that she would've killed Liz and Sonia tells her what did she expect she lagged on her, Liz says that was her idea due to Don, Liz then says she made her collude with her in making the confession as Liz breaks down and says that Don forced her to do a lot of things as Sonia manages to take the shiv off Liz she tells her that Don was as corrupt as they come as she embraces Liz in a hug.

Ruby wraps her hands during a fight club match

Ruby is walking down the stairs as Cherry Li tells her that Allie is looking for her in the laundry as Ruby thanks her she walks to the laundry as Linda Miles walks out and Ruby walks in and sees Kosta and asks where Allie is. The women surround Allie as she forced to participate in a fight club fight with Billie Latham, as the women place bets on the fight they watch on as Ruby fights Latham and Ruby gets the upper hand as she manages to knockout Latham and punches Kosta in the face when she attempts to call the finish for the fight. After winning, she is applauded by the other inmates and she celebrates with Allie looking on surprised.

Ruby and Allie walk to back to the unit after Ruby wins the fight in the laundry, as Allie says that was the coolest thing she had ever seen, as Allie tells her that she may be too good for fight club and Ruby says that she knows what she is doing and Allie says that what if she has another snap like with what happened to Spike and Ruby realises that Rita has been talking with Ruby and Ruby goes into her cell as she tells Allie that Rita ruined her life and that she took everything away from her, she tells Allie that all she has is boxing and that it is the most important thing in the world to her and she won't let Rita take that away from her, Ruby tells Allie to take that back to her sister..

Rita is forced to run after a death causes people to come after the family

Ruby has a flashback when she was talking to Rita and says that she wishes that she didn't have to go, Rita tells Ruby she has to as someone has died and those people would be looking for revenge, Rita tells her to stay strong and gets in the car and drives off as Ruby confronts Rita in her cell and she says that she is a hypocrite and Rita asks if she is a boxer now and Ruby tells her she doesn't owe her anything. as Ruby walks away the story continues with Ruby walking to Rtia's room and finding it empty until she opens the cupboard door and spots her boxing gloves, she puts them on as Ruby realises she is standing in the middle of the hallway before she walks away.

Liz is in the governors office as Vera says that she wanted to give her information as Liz says that it is about Sonia's poisoning, Vera says that Sonia has spoken to the police and says Boomer charges were withdrawn after Sonia told them it was a "misguided suicide attempt" and said she only did it due to having to change her plea and says Boomer is off the hook. Liz looks down at the table as Vera asks Liz if she is ok as Nurse Radcliffe reported to her that she wondered in to medical looking for the shower block, Liz says that she is fine and having a senior moment as Liz goes to leave Vera asks her if she has been drinking again and Liz denies it saying she hasn't had one, Liz leaves as Vera rubs her face.

Liz is in her cell as Boomer confronts her and says her outburst in the shower was a good one and she almost fell for it as Sonia is listening from outside she goes into the cell and Boomer leaves as Sonia tells Liz that she needs her to be ok as she tells her that she has a new lawyer and she has changed her plea and says to Liz that when the police catch Don they will need to out him for his corruption and lies. Liz surprised is relieved to her Don is still alive.

Zoe sees Franky who under a fake name comes to see her

Franky visits Zoe under a false name and Zoe asks who was the one who recommended her and Franky says that it was an acquaintance Iman Farah. Zoe says that Franky looks familiar and Franky tells her that she escaped from Wentworth and as Zoe presses a panic alarm, Franky tells her she didn't kill Iman or Mike.

Vera walks out of her office and she runs into Jake who says that she hasn't fired him yet and asks if they still have a chance. Vera says to him that he is an idiot if he thought returning the USB would make her melt and she says that she is too exhausted to deal with the bureaucracy 'bullshit' if she fires him as she is dealing with two escaped inmates and a murder investigation.

Ruby is laying down in her cell as Kosta and co walk into her unit and open the door to her cell, Ruby is surprised and Kosta tells her to relax and she gives Ruby a wad of cash saying it is her cut from the fight that streamed online, Ruby tells Kosta that she won't get sucked back into fights again, Kosta says that she can come back anytime and the women love her when she fights, she leaves as Ruby contemplates her next move.

Zoe tells Franky she needs to leave as the police are on their way

Zoe tells Franky that whatever she has said with her clients is confidential, as Franky tells her that she has read Iman's file and says that she knows she had spoken with her on Mike's murder and all the things related to grief, Zoe asks how she did that, but Franky tells her that she needs to tell the police what she knows about Iman and says that Mike and Iman may be dead but she is the one in a living hell, Zoe says that Iman and her discussed her survivors guilt and if she spoke about murder she would be under the obligation to tell the police that. Franky tells her that her inaction cost two lives and how she can live with that as Zoe tells her that she is just projecting onto her. Franky says the police have to know what she knows. Zoe stands up and while she nods in understanding she tells Franky that she needs to leave because the police are on their way, Franky swears before running out the door.

Franky goes on the run after avoiding the police

Franky goes on the run, and as she makes her way out she sees a police car down the road and keeps running, she runs through a street, and is boxed in by the police, as one officer tells the other to call it in as it is Franky, the others stop her with a car, Franky claims the fence and she sees the train coming as she attempts to jump, she is shot by an officer and she rolls down the hill injured, officers rush over to the fence and see that she has disappeared.
