Boomer is charged for attempted murder and put in solitary for being suspected of Sonia's poisoning. Stevens returns to Wentworth. After visiting Jenkins, she understands that the real guilty was Liz. Later, in the showers, she kills inmate Sharon Gilmour mistaking her for Birdsworth. After Liz tries to revenge, Sonia manages to calm her down and the two of them hug. Later, Stevens lies to the Governor telling that her poisoning was a suicidal attempt, in order to get Boomer out of troubles. After that, Sonia explains Liz the plans for her defence, that means framing Don Kaplan of corruption; she lies, telling her that Don is still alive.
Ruby and Allie's friendship and relationship keep intensifying. After saving Mitchell in the showers, Allie finds out that she has a severe disease which causes her nervous attacks, but promises her to keep the secret. Later on, Rita Connors reveals Novak that she has blood connection with Ruby, and asks her to check that she does not get involved into fights or problems which could cause a prolonging of her sentence. Mitchell's disease is revealed to be caused by the car accident often appearing in the flashbacks.
Inmate Vicky Kosta organises illegal fights between prisoners in the laundry, which are filmed and sold in the dark web, with Kaz knowing anything about it. Later, Ruby is forced to participate in one of these matches against Billie Latham. After winning, she is applauded by the other inmates. Later on in the episode, she is paid by Vicky for her win and encouraged to go on in this business.
Vera asks Bridget for therapeutic counselling after discovering her pregnancy. After seeing Vera vomiting, Jake develops the strong suspect that she is pregnant, and therefore decides not to blackmail her anymore with the evidences of the setup of officer Murphy. He also invites the Governor to fire him, without success.
Will finally confesses Kaz that he killed Ferguson.
Franky, after breaking and entering psychologist Zoe Taylor's house, reads in Iman's personal files that she confessed Pennisi's murder. After meeting Taylor under a false name, she tries to convince her to help her with proving her innocence, but Zoe calls the police and Franky is forced to run away. While crossing a net, the police shoots Doyle in her right shoulder, leaving her fate unknown at the end of the episode.
