Will's attempts to expose Jake as the dirty officer backfire while Franky starts her very detailed plan to escape from Wentworth.
Kaz is woken in the middle of the night by an officer and taken to see Will Jackson (Wentworth) who tells Kaz that she was right that Jake Stewart is the dirty officer and that he was the one who planted drugs in his locker right before the CSDS raid and why he waited for him to clock off because what he was doing had to be top secret. Kaz tells him to take it to the governor and tell her. Will says he doesn't have proof. Will asks Kaz to get Allie involved and Kaz says that Allie wouldn't want to take that risk and not to ask her to do that, Kaz tells Will that she'll figure out a way and leave Allie out of it.
Franky watches the Workshop officer take a radio call
The women are working in the workshop and Boomer is saying that 'the new chick' Iman is good at working the tools and Sonia makes a quip about 'cultural diversity in the workplace' and Boomer says as long as she is good at working on the tools. Franky asks Allie if she is ok and Allie says that she is fine, and Franky asks her if she still wants to do 'the other thing' and Allie is certain and says that Franky can't do a backflip on her now. Franky says that it didn't feel fair asking her and she says that if they get caught they will stick another six months onto their sentences, Allie tells her that she doesn't plan on getting caught and Franky says that is what everyone says as they are 'girt by sea' and there's no where to run. Allie says to Franky that if she stays she will either kill Ferguson or herself and that it will 'give her something to do'. Boomer doesn't hear the whole conversation and tells her to get on with her work as Sonia calls them being back on the side a 'golden opportunity', Franky and Allie agree on this and Sonia says she has plans of the project to be bigger so they better not screw it up, Boomer then says 'it's management talk for 'don't fuck it up' and Franky "thanks" her for the advice and Allie calls her 'bossy lady'. Franky watches the guard on the door and wanders if he ever goes home, Allie jokes that she could 'go him' but it would 'give him a heart attack'. Wondering if he'll move, Franky and Allie note the call from the officers radio.
"Will's about to pop his cork.."
Vera and Jake talk about Ferguson and Jake says that she has been on her best behaviour and that she knows that he is watching her like a hawk. Vera asks him if Ferguson has been talking to anyone and Jake says that Ferguson doesn't really talk to anyone not even officers. Jake says that he doesn't buy the 'drug officer story' and hasn't since the beginning . He tells Vera that Will is like a dog with a bone and just keeps on hounding him either because of what happened during the brawler accident or being demoted. Vera says that she has known Will a long time and he doesn't make accusations lightly. Jake then reveals that Will had a go at him the other day and got 'agro' at him. Vera asks what it was over and Jake just believes it's over him being demoted and that he could be about to 'pop his cork' Vera exclaims 'great'.
Franky sees her dad in the visitors centre and the two talk about her sister Tess Doyle and how she loves kinder. Franky says she misses her heaps and Alan says he misses her a lot as well. Franky tells him not to bring Tess into the prison and Alan agrees. Alan asks what Franky needed helped with Franky thinks about it and doesn't want to go through with it until he asks her what it is, and she says that it is a huge ask. Alan wants to help. Franky tells him that she needs a walkie talkie. Alan tells her that he is a plumber and not a spy, Franky tells him to forget it until Alan asks her what she is planning.
Will sees Vera and she tells him to come in to her office and he says that he knows who the officer is. Vera asks him if there is any chance that he is obsessing over it and he says that it Jake Stewart and that it makes perfect sense. Vera disagrees and says that Jake was the one who organised the CSDS raid yesterday and Vera even says that what did he do it for? To catch himself out. Will says it was to throw them off the trail. Vera says that she normally trusts Will's judgement on these types of things but Will says that it makes perfect sense if he is always one step ahead of them because he is deputy governor. Vera tells him that the allegations he has ends careers and he has no evidence to backup his claim. Will says to Vera that he has a witness and Vera rebuttals by saying that the word of a prisoner against a respected officer is completely different. Will tells Vera what has she got to lose.
Franky and Allie talk and Allie asks her how did it go, Franky says that her dad will help them but all they need are the plans for the prisons sewer system and Allie laughs and jokes about it and Franky says they will talk about it later as she has to meet Iman. Kaz mops the floor as Will walks down the stairs and he shakes his head in dejection as Allie walks past the two realise that they need her help..
Iman tells Franky all her 'family and friends are dead'.
Iman tells Franky that she is 'pretty much stuffed' and Franky asks her if she gave her notes to her lawyer, Iman said she did and that 'there wasn't much in it' Franky tells her that just because her lawyer rolled doesn't mean she has to. Franky then says since there is no internet in Wentworth she will have to get someone to bring them in, Iman says that it isn't going to happen as Franky pushes it and Iman reveals that her family and her friends are all dead so she can just stop trying to help her and she storms off. As Iman walks out of the unit Linda walks into the unit and tells Liz that there is someone here to see her and she asks who it is Linda replies and says "do I look like a PA?" and says that it is a detective here to see her.
Jake lies to Vera and claims he "isn't the dirty officer"
Vera is in the yard sitting at the table and playing with a tennis ball where Jake comes in and says that 'Linda said she was out here', Jake asks her what's up and Vera just says it's work stuff and that she just needs 'some quiet' and Jake says that is what a deputy governor is for to help her with her workload. Vera says that she has just come from a meeting with Will Jackson (Wentworth) and she reveals that he told her that Jake maybe the dirty officer who supplied drugs to inmates. Jake who knows he is in it says that is just Will "gunning for him" and Vera also says that there is a witness and it is one of the women. Jake tells Vera that Will's claims are "total shit" and Vera says to him that if Will makes a formal complaint she has to investigate it and that she shouldn't even be telling him that. Jake says that he doesn't care about an investigation because "he is clean" he just wants to know if Vera believes him. Vera says that if he will tell her the claims aren't true and Jake says that they aren't. Jake is stunned and pissed off.
Joan is in the exercise yard doing some exercise as Jake walks in and Joan stops what she is doing and cleans her hands when she walks over to him and says to Ferguson that "he has a problem" and Ferguson just says "oh". Jake reveals to her that Will is suspect of him and knows that he is dealing, and he says that there is a witness and he will tell Vera. Ferguson tells Jake that Will won't tell anyone not if Jake did his job properly. Ferguson wonders who it could be and Jake looks around and realises that it is Novak who would be the witness. Ferguson says that she will deal with Allie but he must find out who Franky's visitor was.
Liz is taken to see the detective in the interview room and it is Detective Ayoub who speaks with Liz and she wants to go over her perjury charges and Liz says that Don can tell her that it was sanctioned and Ayoub backs it up and says they have the request but nowhere did it say to lie to them. Ayoub says that because Liz didn't get what she wanted she went on a trip to make sure Sonia was guilty. Liz asks her where is Don and she asks Liz if the two became quite close during the investigation, Liz says they did and Liz wants to know where Don is. Ayoub tells Liz that because of her Don had taken stress leave after she tainted the case he worked so hard on and that he isn't at home or answering his calls and she says that this means he is missing.
Detective Ayoub tells Liz that Don Kaplan is officially missing
Liz walks out of the interrogation room disorientated as she sees Sonia walking toward her and talking to her where she "apologises" for her behaviour the other day and wishes that would return to the garden project. Liz says that it was fine and Sonia walks away and she runs into Vera and says that "she did it" Vera asks what she means and Liz believes that "Don is dead."
Allie is surprised when Kaz asks her to face the governor over Jake
Kaz goes to Allie's cell where she is cleaning and Kaz asks Allie for a favour and Allie says sure. Kaz comes in and asks Allie if she remembers when Jake gave her a bag of ice, and Allie says yes as it was months ago. Kaz tells Allie that Will believes that Jake is the dodgy officer, Allie is shocked and says that she thought it was just a once off. Allie asks what the favour is and Kaz asks her to go to the governor as they now have proof that Jake is the officer working with Tina's crew. Allie thinks the idea is crazy and refuses to take part as she told Kaz previously to help. Kaz asks her again and says that Allie can help bring down the drugs ring in the prison.
Ferguson's game of chess continues with her plan for Jake to 'think like a knight'
Jake goes to the education unit where he opens the door and Hutch is standing there looking over Joan. He walks over to Ferguson and says that he founds out who Doyle's visitor was, it was her dad, Ferguson says that he 'must be so proud'. Jake asks what they are going to do about Novak, and Ferguson says nothing yet as Jake is thinking 'like a pawn' and needs to 'think like a knight' and she continues to move pieces of the chess board as her plan continues to unravel.
Franky is in her cell looking at her necklace when Iman knocks on the door and she offers an apology for the way she went off at her before and Franky says that it is fine, Iman explains and says that she just doesn't like being fenced in. Franky says that Wentworth must feel like a hotel to her compared to the camps she had been in, Iman jokes and says she "misses" the malaria, dirty water and the guards 'tucking people in the same way'. Franky says that they are pigs and Iman says that her mother had protected her from all the things there until she died, Franky asks her how she isn't angry and says that she would be out for blood. Iman says that it was 'just a body' and that there were 'many' in the camps but prison is different as they have to protect their hearts and if they can protect that then they are 'free'. Iman then tells Franky she can't get the posts she wants and Franky tells her that they will find another way.
Franky talks to Vera about Iman Farah and says that she was just defending herself against a troll and Vera tells her that she knows she can't sanction it because the department's protocol forbids the use of social media for inmates. Franky tells Vera that Iman has spent most of her life behind wire and that she deserves a chance because her lawyer has cleaned his hands of her, and her family isn't around to help Franky says all she needs is 30 minutes to get those posts of her social media. Vera agrees with her and says she can have 15 minutes supervised.
Franky receives a threat where her sister is being targeted by Stewart
Franky walks back to her unit where she sees that her cell door is open and she goes to see what is up, Franky walks in sees that a jumper and an envelope are on the bed and it says 'ASK NOVAK' she looks at the envelope and it's photos of her sister with her dad, and she is disgusted. Franky takes the photos to Allie and even Allie is disgusted, they believe it is Jake threatening the both of them and Franky tells her not to speak with Vera and Allie says it is set in stone. Franky tells her not to speak with Vera because it is putting her baby sister at risk and Allie says that Kaz is set on bringing out the dirty officer and her principals are set in stone. Franky angrily tells Allie that Kaz can 'fuck her principals'.
Allie and Kaz talk in the yard and Kaz tells Allie that she can't back down now, Allie says that the message was 'pretty clear'. Kaz says if the message was from Stewart he obviously knows that Allie is the informer and that Stewart needs to be shut down. Allie says she can't because she doesn't want to put Franky's sister in danger and Kaz says that she will make a call and let the Red Right Hand watch over her. Allie says that she doesn't know about it and Will appears telling Allie her appointment is ready and she tells him to wait a minute as Kaz tells Allie that she will protect Franky's sister, she swears on it. Allie finally leaves and walks past Franky who watches on.
Allie faces Vera over the dodgy officer.
Will takes Allie to see Vera and takes a seat when Vera tells her too. Vera asks Allie about the time she was supplied with licit drugs by a member of her staff, an officer, Allie nods and says that she doesn't want to get into any trouble, Vera says she won't but she'll need to tell her the truth. Vera asks when it happened and Allie said it happened 3 months ago when she fell off the wagon and she needed a hit pretty bad and the transaction happened in H3 she thinks, Allie starts stalling for time and says that she "thinks" it was in H3 as she was "pretty off her face" at the time and falsely confirms that she knows who the officer was but can't really remember. Will who was watching what was happening said it is bull and she knows it because she told Proctor and that she does know, Allie tells him and Vera that she doesn't remember Will says who is she afraid of and repeating it before Vera tells him to stop. Vera asks her if anyone has been threatening her and Allie says no, Vera then says that if she does remember anything to come and see her again. When Allie and Will leave he asks who threatened her and Allie says no one did and she only did it to get Kaz off her back.
Franky is playing with a tennis ball as Joan is watching on from the bench, and Kaz is walking around as Allie comes out of the building and walks past Franky to Kaz. Kaz says that Allie did the right thing, but Allie reveals to Kaz that she didn't tell Vera anything as she couldn't put Franky's sister in any dangerous and she apologises for letting her down, and Kaz says that it is alright but leaves in a hurry. Allie walks over to Franky and tells her that she didn't say anything to Vera and Franky thanks her for and asks her if she is ready to 'get the fuck out of Wentworth' which Allie says yes and follows her back inside.
Allie tries to comfort a despondent Kaz after.
Allie goes to the unit where she asks Kaz if she is still pissed off and Kaz says that she is angry at herself, and Allie says that she only did what she thought was right. Allie says that Kaz used to be so upfront about protecting the women but she was very quick to put the girl in danger. Kaz says that Allie used to trust her whenever she made her a promise. Kaz believes that Allie doesn't trust her anymore and Allie says that it is ok to make such a mistake and Kaz says that it isn't. Kaz says that she was manipulated into a deal with Tina, trusted Ferguson and let her scare the life out of the women and she doesn't know what else and she pretends that everything is ok. Allie says that she is the only one who believes in something and the others don't.
Franky prints the plans for the prison plumbing while looking at Iman's social media.
Franky is in the education unit with an officer watching over her, Franky is on Iman's social media printing out evidence for her, Franky looks at her and asks her what she loves about the internet is that "anyone can get a root, even screws." the officer is disgusted and calls Franky a 'piece of work', Franky says that means so much coming from that officer and when the officer goes to stand back at the door switches tabs and uses Bridget's password to get into the prison plumbing plans and the officer asks what she is looking at and Franky says "stuff and things'. Allie sees Franky and distracts the officer by asking her if she can use the internet as well as she "hasn't checked her feed in a while." the officer tells her to go away and Franky manages to print the plans while the officer is distracted. Franky goes to leave and the officer asks to look at what she has printed but doesn't see the plans that Franky printed and she tells Franky to go.
Franky throws the plans for the plumbing over the fence so her dad can help her escape
Franky is in the yard throwing a tennis ball at the wall as Linda is on duty and watches Franky as Franky looks over and Allie asks Linda if she knows what the time is, Linda jokes and asks Allie if she has a 'hot date' Allie follows the joke and says in a few years and while Linda is distracted swaps balls and throws the one with plans over the fence, Franky's dad Alan rushes over to the fence and grabs the plans and he looks at them as Allie gets the time from Linda and Franky get back to throwing the ball at the wall.
Franky is in her cell searching for her necklace but she can't find it, she asks Allie if she has seen anyone in her cell, Allie says no and asks what she has lost, Franky says her kite necklace has gone missing as they hear Liz crying in her cell saying that 'she killed him' Franky rushes over and Boomer asks what is going on as she has "stuff to do.." as Franky helps Liz onto the bed, Linda walks to the bars and asks what is all the noise about, Allie lies and says that Liz has had a nightmare and that "she has them all the time" Linda then says to get her when she "really kills one of you". Franky helps Liz by calming her down as she is having a panic attack.
Vera and Jake arrive at work where Vera and Jake talk when Will drives in an parks his bike as Vera says that she is going to tell Will that Jake and her are together. Jake tells her that their relationship is no one's business, and Vera says that if Will finds out from someone else he can use it against her in some form, Vera then says she will tell him after her board meeting.
Alan helps Franky by using the plumbing to give her some tools to use for her escape
Franky's dad is seen outside putting together plumbing gear as he had been given the plans for the sewer pipes when he gets the snake down the pipe. Allie and Franky rush to the showers but are stopped by Jen Hutchins who asks them both what they want, Franky says it was her mistake and they both leave as they see Joan about to have a shower. As Alan continues to fish the snake to the showers it hits the metal and it starts tapping as Joan is showering she hears the noise and Franky makes it to the phone to call him and tell him that the 'weather has changed' and there are 'no showers today', Alan looks over the plans and says that he'll do some work in the kitchen. Franky and Allie makes their way to the kitchen and Allie to says to keep watch for the Asian Crew. As Franky is trying to open the kitchen floor grate Allie is confronted by the crew who say that she owes them for the other time she ripped her off, Allie tells her to get it over and done with and just bash her as Franky manages to get the gear from the plumbing snake and makes her way to tell the crew to get off of her, Jake comes in and asks what is going on and they don't really reveal much and leave. Tina tells Jake that he needs to fix what just happened.
Vera is walking down the hallway as Will catches up to her and he says that someone had gotten to Allie and he wants to action a request but Vera says that Allie by her own admission couldn't remember anything and Will asks Vera if she is ok, Vera says she has to get to a board meeting and Will says that Allie was clearly lying to her but Vera says she had nothing useful to say about the situation. Will says that Vera should contact the Governor at Walford and ask him why Jake left and Vera says that she has better things to do with her time then engage in a witch hunt.
Will confronts Jake as he reveals he and Vera are together.
Will confronts Jake in the staffroom as he is trying to do paperwork and he asks how he got Allie to change her story by either bribing her or threatening her. Jake says that he knows he went to the governor about him and he doesn't mind that he was just doing his job, he says that there was no need to get personal. Will says that he may have sucked in Vera but he knows Jake is a lying prick. Will pins Jake to the wall and tells him not to 'Will Mate' him and says that one day he is going to catch him red handed and report him to Vera. Jake laughs at him and says that he and Vera are together and that he is 'Teflon' and can't be touched. An angry Will walks to the Governor's office where Linda Miles has just walked out of, he asks Linda if Vera is available and Linda tells him that he isn't but Jake is available, Will swears and he walks away angrily.
Franky and Allie are in the workshop and they are in the middle of their plan realising that they can get stuff into the boxes but they must do it in short trips with being under suspicion as Boomer is watching the two. Liz is in the garden and Sonia comes by and says that she has arranged for her to have a new shovel, Liz thanks her and Sonia says that she has heard that Liz hasn't been sleeping very well during the night and she says to her to look after herself, as Sonia leaves Vera comes over and speaks with Liz and Vera notes how peaceful the garden detail is and Liz agrees. Vera says to Liz she heard she went to the doctor and Liz says she did and she can see everything clearer now, Vera asks what does she mean and Liz says that Sonia has killed Don Kaplan and she wants to prove it.
Will goes off at Vera revealing that Jake is indeed a snake and a drug dealer
Will goes to Vera's office where the two talk. Vera tells Will that she wanted to tell him about her and Jake being together and that it had become too messy to deal with. Will tells Vera that they have been through a lot together and he says that he thought she had more integrity, Vera says that there is nothing in the regulations against couples working together and he should know that. Will says that Meg never tried to hide it. Will tells Vera at least he gets it now, he asks her if she is the one who tipped off Jake and Vera denies it and Will says that she wasted no time in demoting Will and Vera says that he was the one who tested positive while at work and Will says that it was Jake who gave him the pill and gave Jake his job. Vera tells Will that he wants revenge on Jake so badly it is ruining his thinking, Will then says that Vera is the one 'fucking a drug dealer' and Vera tells him to come back when he has calmed down, Will says he will be back after he has seen Derek Channing.
Iman takes Franky's necklace
As Franky is in her cell reading Iman Farah's posts and she is marking the names of all the people who wrote things on her wall including Mike Pennisi's post and she underlines the name as Franky reaches for her necklace and she realises it isn't there she worries. As Iman is in her cell she reaches over to the curtain and reveals that she has stolen Franky's necklace. Iman has played everyone.
