With the murder charge against her dropped, Sonia is free to tie up loose ends.
Sonia is seen enjoying her freedom as she is drinking wine she has a flashback to when she was last seen with Helen Masters (Wentworth), Helen says that the family has run out of money for any sort of treatment for her sisters cancer, when she tries to threaten Sonia for more when she reveals that she knows that she killed Geoffrey, Helen is struck in the head with a wine bottle, killing her instantly.
Liz is seen talking with Vera who tells her that all she wanted was to be free. Vera tells Liz that this one is on her.
Liz talks to Doreen who tells her that she better hope no one in the prison finds out that she is the one who lagged. Boomer who is talking with Doreen where Doreen says that she always believed that Sonia did it. Boomer says "So much for Witness X.."

Sonia shaves Helen's head moments before Helen attempts to blackmail Sonia for more money
Franky speaks with her lawyer who says that her committal hearing has set a date. Franky tells her lawyer to look into the injuries and settlement for his will. Her lawyer declines to do so as they do not have the resources to what she wants.
Liz speaks with Don, and after Liz speaks with him Liz is told by Linda that she has a message for her and that she is to be put on the call list.
The inmates in the dining room cause a commotion after Franky asks why there is a plumber in the kitchen, Linda tells them that he's there so the food doesn't spoil. Franky comes up with an idea and spits her food on the floor and she is told to clean the mess up. Franky steals the wrench and later the plumber calls the prison to tell them that it is missing, Vera orders a toss and during the cell toss she gives it to Allie to hide in her wrist bandage.
Ferguson distracts Linda long enough for Juice to hide whatever Juice was hiding. Juice later sees Ferguson in the yard again and asks why she did what she did, Ferguson offers it as an olive branch but Juice isn't having it. Kaz stops Juice from talking to Joan again.
Liz calls Sonia and tells her to put prison behind her as Sonia gets a visitor in Don Kaplan and the two celebrate their evil win by making out..
As the walls close in on the drugs trade from Jake's standpoint as he comes into work and notices that the drug squad dogs are roaming the prison, Will tells Jake that Vera ordered the CSDS to keep the drug detection dogs at the prison entrance for the entire week.

Don tells Sonia his idea to subvert the trial
Don and Sonia celebrate with drinks when it is revealed what happened during her arrest. It is revealed that Helen's phone was found in Sassafrass that morning Liz testified in court. In a flashback Sonia is under arrest when Don comes in and tells Sonia the police intend to charge her with Helen's death and that she will be remanded to Wentworth, Sonia tells him that its not an option, Don then says he has a plan he will find a way to subvert the trial but he wont 'fuck up his career' for it, but he wants a deal, for Sonia to tell him what really happened to her husband. Don tells Sonia he knows that she killed him and he doesn't know why, Sonia tells him that Geoffrey was a 'womanising arsehole' who almost ruined the business. Don doesn't press for anymore details and the two go to bed together, but what Sonia doesn't know is that Don knew his drink was spiked when Sonia goes to drive him and dump his body in the same place.
Franky starts to put her escape plan into action when she steals a wrench from the kitchen. When she asks Vera if she can be put on garden duty when she refuses to help out inmates who need legal help, but Franky doesn't want to help out those inmates and says that she 'feels cooped up' as she is inside all the time.

Sonia attempts to flee but is arrested shortly after
Sonia manages to make her way back to her house after being left for dead by Don Kaplan, Sonia plans to make a run for it as she grabs a bag and a passport, but she is finally thwarted by the police who close in on her and manage to finally make an arrest, she is put under arrest for the murder of her husband Geoffrey Stevens.

Linda tells Kaz the real reason why Will lost his deputy governorship
Kaz walks with several members of her crew when she pays Linda Miles money to learn the reason why Will Jackson lost his deputy governorship was because he 'had a big night' and his drugs test came back positive.
Back at the prison a pensive Liz watches Vera make a phone call to the police. The police tells Vera that Don has taken stress leave, leaving Liz's case up in the air. Liz is adamant that something is wrong and that Don wouldn't leave her in the lurch like this. Vera tells Liz that she needs to calm down and think about it for a while.

Vera receives a phone call that causes her to leave her office quickly, as she tells Jake, Jake asks how come the CSDS are at the prison, she says that it was Will's idea and that she put it in place quickly.
Vera and Will stand in the sallyport as the brawler comes in with the person of interest. Liz walks through the compound to see the person who has been returned to the prison is none other than Sonia Stevens (Wentworth).
