Ferguson is rattled when she discovers that Bea will be supporting Jesper’s evidence in court as Kaz gets 12 years.
Ferguson speaks with her lawyer as she asks for an update in her case. Her lawyer tells Joan that someone may appear as a surprise witness which she doesn't know who it is, but Ferguson does. As Bea agrees to testify against Ferguson only if Ferguson gets put back into protection once the trial starts.
Allie finds Bea and gives her some Vitamin E cream for her scarring. Allie tells Bea to forget about Doreen.
As Joan sits in the yard after speaking with her lawyer, she sees Kaz celebrating as her lawyer reckons she will get 18 months and everyone else will get released with time served. Kaz talks with Joan where Joan reveals she is being 'victimized' by Nils Jesper.
Jake talks with Vera about transfers until he crosses the line when he asks Vera if she wants to go out for a drink. Vera tells Jake that the kiss in the lift would be tantamount to assault. Jake says he must have misread the room.
As the women in the cells talk, Doreen asks Linda how Tasha is doing as Linda is delivering the mail Linda tells Doreen that Tasha 'isn't good' and she should have stopped her from pressing the panic button, Sonia says there is a lot of 'negative energy' in the place, Boomer says it only occurred after she rocked up.
Don Kaplan and Liz talk about Sonia and he tells her to play the long game with her and let the noise fill in the silence. Don tells Liz he'll take her for a coffee when she gets out.
Doreen and Ferguson talk about the panic button both of them agree that the panic button rule is dangerous and should be changed.
Doreen defies Bea and presses the panic button
Meanwhile, Bea seems to be losing control of the women after Doreen tells Bea that everyone deserves a chance to press the panic button after what had happened to Tasha Goodwin. Doreen calls the panic button rule ridiculous and Bea tells everyone that the rule stays. Defying orders from Bea, Doreen presses the button and so does everyone from adjoining units.
As the staff deal with the fallout, including an angry Linda Miles who is furious that Jake got sent home because Vera was playing favourites, Vera tells Linda and Will who is listening to Linda, that she needed her most experienced officers onsite.
Vera looks at the Top Dog Vote and decides to rig it so Bea can remain Top Dog.
Vera is privately determined that Bea maintains control as Top Dog and she interferes with the votes rigging them and adding extra votes. Jake witnesses Vera rigging the vote and attempts to flirt with her, Vera tells Jake to get back to work.
Jake is later warned by Vera for 'insubordination' after the night in the dining room.
When Kaz gets sentenced for 12 years she is met by Vera who tells her that she will have '12 long years with Bea Smith'. When Kaz is returned to her cell she trashes it, releasing her anger on how she ended up in this mess.
Bea goes to the kitchen to grab more milk and she sees Allie there and Bea asks her how Kaz is doing as she heard about her sentence.
Maxine and Boomer talk after Maxine reveals she'll undergo surgery
While Maxine is in her cell looking at her breasts as she finally considers undergoing surgery to save her life. Maxine talks with Boomer and Maxine reveals that the only person who cared about her was her until she met Boomer. Boomer and Maxine share a laugh as Boomer jokes that she can have some of hers if Maxine opts for reconstructive surgery, Maxine tells Boomer she will undergo surgery and will fight like hell.
Bridget and Kaz talk after Kaz received her 12 year sentence
Kaz speaks with Bridget and Bridget tells Kaz that her sentence can be a 'shock to the system' and that she has every right to be angry. Kaz breaks down and says that she is angry at the 'fucker' who put her behind bars.
Bea is seen drawing in her cell and it is a drawing of Allie. Bea stops drawing and rushes off to find Allie and Kaz.
Allie finds Kaz who is cleaning up her cell after she trashed it, Kaz says to Allie if she knows what this means for the girls of the Red Right Hand, Allie says yes she knows. Just as Allie wants to tell Kaz that she wants to tell the Red Right Hand, Bea appears and tells Allie she wished to speak with Kaz.
Bea tells Kaz that she heard about her sentence, Bea also asks Kaz if there is going to be any problems, Kaz says no and Bea walks away telling Allie that she cannot tell Kaz about them.
As Boomer is painting Maxine's nails, Liz asks anyone if they want tea, they all say no, but Liz makes one and sees an upset Doreen and she asks if she is okay, Doreen isn't and she tells Liz that she hates Wentworth. Liz tells her that she needs to call Nash and sort things out, Doreen agrees and smiles as Liz says everything will be ok.
Jake and Vera meet up in the elevator, where it is a silent trip. Jake leaves the elevator and walks past Doreen who is on the phone with Nash Taylor and she asks Nash if she can meet Miranda.
Bea and Allie share their iconic kitchen kiss
Bea and Allie meet up in the kitchen, and Allie asks why she can't tell Kaz that she wants to leave the Red Right Hand, as the two continue talking Allie tells Bea she is cold, Bea says it is cold because they're in the kitchen. After some talking the share their iconic kiss in the kitchen, and Allie slyly tells Bea after the kiss that they 'can go now'. Bea doesn't realise that Ferguson was indeed watching Allie and Bea's rendezvous.
Ferguson unveils her plan and urges Kaz to help her. In return, she’ll take out Bea Smith if Kaz takes out Nils Jesper the one Bea had Kaz looking for when she was arrested. Kaz asks Ferguson what she is going to do about Bea, and Joan reveals that she will kill her. What Kaz doesn't know is that it was Ferguson who got her arrested.
