Disgusted by Ferguson's ordeal, Kaz offers her protection as Bea is branded a 'screw lover' for protecting Will Jackson.
During the night, Kaz and Allie look after Ferguson who is dealing with the aftermath of her attack and her injuries as a result. Kaz who is basically bedside is told to go to bed by Allie as Ferguson had finally fallen asleep. Kaz walks out of Ferguson's cell and talks to Allie and says to her what kind of woman does that to another woman, and Allie says 'this is prison' and people are assholes.
In the morning, Kaz helps Joan to get changed before morning count, Kaz is horrified at seeing Joan's bleeding, but Joan says she'll be ok and to pass her a fresh pair of pants, Kaz does so. Kaz leaves when morning count begins, with Linda the one who takes the count, Linda marks off the name but has to repeat Ferguson numerous times before Ferguson makes her way out. Linda nods then leaves.
Joan returns to the dining room where the inmates start yelling 'freak' at her.
In the dining room, Kaz's crew is missing from breakfast as Bea and Maxine make a joke about Kaz killing them all while they slept. Boomer excitedly comes over and tells the women that she has to bail on work duty tomorrow and asks if they all want to know why, when Boomer asks again she says that someone had "taken the blame" for Que-Balling Mitch Lawson and that conjugals are now back on as a result of someone coming forward. Doreen is annoyed about it and leaves the table as Liz says to Boomer that she should have ha da little more tact about it since she got knocked back. Liz goes over to Doreen and asks if she is ok, Doreen says it is unfair since Boomer isn't with Daz any more. As Doreen stops mid-sentence because Joan Ferguson (Wentworth) makes an appearance in the dining room, where the inmates look on in shock as some of the inmates start to bang their cutlery calling Ferguson 'freak' as she wants to be served breakfast, Linda tells them all to stop or else they will end up in the slot. Ferguson and Kaz's crew sit down as Will comes into the dining room and goes to talk with Linda, he says to her what happened to eating in her cell, Linda who isn't pleased either says apparently not. Joan freaks out and rushes out of the dining room as Juice calls her a 'psycho'. Bea walks over to Allie and asks her what is happening with Ferguson, Allie says that Kaz is helping to look out for "a sister" and Bea tells her Ferguson is anything but a sister.
Joan explains she tried to "expose" Will and Bea rumours when she was Governor
Joan rushes back to her unit in the midst of a panic attack, as Kaz who is following behind her tries to calm her down and gets her to look at her where Kaz then asks if it was Will Jackson who did this to her, Joan nods and Kaz swears. Kaz says that Will cannot get away with this, Joan says to leave it and says that Will only did it to "assert power" and that is the end of it. Kaz says no that he needs to be dealt with, Joan says to leave it as she says that if the guards find out she has been attacked they will send her back to protection there she will be at 'their mercy', as Linda comes to the unit to stand guard Kaz tells her to 'back away'. Kaz tells Joan that she knows what happening is terrifying for her but they can take Will on. Joan tells Kaz that if she hasn't worked it out yet it's Will and Bea being how she survived and made her way to the top. Joan says when she started at Wentworth she had heard the rumours of the two and she tried to expose them but couldn't succeed, cause if she had both her and Kaz wouldn't be in Wentworth. Linda gets word from another officer and tells Joan her lawyer is here to see her.
Maxine sees her doctor who reveals to Maxine that she has gotten Maxine's tests results back and the news isn't good she tells Maxine that the results came back with malignant cells. Maxine asks if the cancer has spread but the doctor tells her that is a conversation she needs to have with her specialist as every cancer treatment is different and is unique, but in Maxine's case they need to look into the type of hormone they can use. Maxine asks if she can keep taking them but the doctor replies and says that some form of breast cancers are oestrogen sensitive, she also tells Maxine the specialist will be contact with her and tell her more information then she can provide, but Maxine sits there stunned as she is devastated by what is happening.
Vera and Will watch the security footage of Ferguson eating in the dining room, as Will asks about what happened to her eating in her unit. Vera says that she was checking to see if the rumours were true that she was under the protection of Kaz and her crew, Will says that he would've liked to have been kept in the loop over it, Vera tells him sorry and she wonders how Ferguson did it so quickly, Vera then gets a radio call from another officer who tells her that Ferguson has refused a strip search and Vera tells her that she is coming down to sort it out.
Vera and Officer Webb conduct the search where they find out about Ferguson's injuries.
Ferguson tells Vera that her meeting was with a reputable lawyer and the search is unnecessary. Vera tells Ferguson to remove her clothes, Ferguson complies as Vera and Officer Peta Webb conduct the search as the search shows the bruising from Ferguson's attack, when Vera asks what happened and Ferguson says that she fell and Vera refuses to believe that's how it happened, Ferguson says the tiles on the bathroom floor are very slippery and Vera should look into that. As the search continues when Ferguson is asked to turn around it shows the extent of her injuries, when Vera sees this she is shocked and asked who did it to her, Ferguson keeps up with her story about falling, and the prisoners aiding her recovery very well. Vera tells Officer Webb to call the nurse and inform them they are coming up with Ferguson. Ferguson tells Vera that if she wishes to do an internal exam she will need her consent, Vera tells Ferguson that she is left with no choice and that Ferguson must be sent back to protection, Ferguson refuses and says there is no grounds to do so as it was an accident. As Ferguson is taken to medical Vera tells Webb to tell the officers she wishes to see them as Kaz asks where they are taking Ferguson, Vera tells her it's none of her business and Kaz yells out in support of Joan.
Kaz confronts Bea over Ferguson's claim, but is punched in the face instead.
Kaz goes into the yard with her crew and she tells Bea if she is ok with everything that has happened to Joan, that one of the guards had attacked and raped Joan, Bea's crew laughs as they know it is a bunch of crap and Kaz flies off the handle about them laughing at Joan. Bea asks and says is that what Ferguson had told her and says that he didn't do it. Kaz says of course she would protect him calling Bea a 'screw lover' in the process. Boomer stands up to protest what Kaz said and Bea says that it is ok. Bea says that Will would never lay a finger on her and that Ferguson is playing her and her crew and she would have to watch her bac, Kaz replies back with 'victims a liar? fuck never heard that one before.' Bea tells Kaz that Ferguson is not a victim and she doesn't know the true history of what Ferguson did to Wentworth. Kaz replies saying that Bea would rather protect the screw she is 'fucking' before Bea punches her in the face, Bea kneels beside her and says that she is listening to the wrong person 'dickhead'. Bea walks away as Kaz complains about the fact Bea is protecting Will but not the inmates.
Liz and the crew come back to the unit from outside where Liz tells Bea that she can't defend Will from Kaz's accusations, and Bea says of course she is going to defend Will because he needs it to, Liz asks what happened to Ferguson and Doreen asks as well, Bea slams the fridge shut as she ices her hand and tells the women what happened; Ferguson was ganged and she doesn't know who did it, but it wasn't Will. When Maxine comes back into the unit, Bea asks her how it went and what info she found out, Maxine says that a lot of the women didn't know and Juice was at breakfast but she will continue to update Bea as stuff comes to hand. Liz checks on Maxine and asks her if she is alright and if she got her results. Maxine says she got them back and the results said it was benign. Liz says that is good news and she tells Maxine that she will sleep good tonight. Maxine smiles at Liz as Maxine knows the whole truth about it.
Juice realises that she's been played after Ferguson comes out of medical
Ferguson is in medical after being checked out by a doctor and a nurse, where Bridget has come in to speak with Ferguson. Ferguson tells her she didn't expect to see her so soon since they didn't have an appointment together. Bridget says to consider it an informal chat and she says that she heard the news that Ferguson had been injured 'quite badly'. Ferguson brushes this off by saying that she fell and that she 'bruises easily'. Bridget asks Ferguson on how being in general feels and that it must feel strange, Ferguson calls it a 'relief' and says it is better then being cooped up, and it has given her perspective on her former work colleagues and what she sees. Bridget asks what she sees and Ferguson says that she sees Vera and her going after her to get her back into protection because of a 'made up' attack such as a ganging, Bridget asks her if she was ganged and Ferguson denies she has been and Bridget tells her what she sees that Ferguson submitted herself to the brutal ordeal to serve a twisted agenda and she doesn't know what Ferguson wants to achieve other then death. Ferguson sniffs at Bridget and asks where Franky is, as Bridget walks away and Ferguson is released from medical, Ferguson plays up her injury and is taken back to her unit by Kaz and the crew, when they walk past Juice and Juice calls her 'a sick twisted motherfucker' and when Ferguson smiles and turns around at her, Juice realises that she has been played.
Linda and Officer Lawson confirm Ferguson "was fine" at their shift handover.
Vera calls a staff meeting where she blasts the officers and tells them all that Ferguson has severe bruising from her assault and Vera is struggling to figure out how it all happened when Ferguson had been under guard for the entire time, Linda replies and tells her that it happened because 'she put herself in general'. Vera tells the guards of the expectation that if she has to put someone under guard that person will not be attacked savagely. Vera then says that someone must know something about it, all the guards remain quiet including Linda who looks on knowing that she saw the aftermath of Ferguson's attack, Vera says all the guards at every handover Ferguson was fine. Mitch Lawson confirms that Ferguson was fine when he got her from the education unit and Linda Miles backs it up saying Ferguson was fine when she handed her over, but Linda is lying to save her own skin. Vera tells the guards that 'this isn't over' and encourages them to talk with her privately. When the officers leave, Bridget walks over to Vera and asks her if she thinks there is any possibility that Ferguson may have done it to herself.
Kaz is taken to see Vera by Linda, and Vera sees the bruise on Kaz's face and asks what happened, Kaz lies and says that she 'ran into a door' and Vera replies with 'the same door that attacked Joan Ferguson'. Vera then tells Kaz about Ferguson and that she has noticed that she has taken Ferguson under her wing, Kaz tells Vera that Ferguson needing protecting as Vera either couldn't or refused to give her protection, Vera then says if Kaz has thought about Ferguson manipulating her, Kaz then says Vera must've seen the injuries that Ferguson suffered and says to her 'you think she fucked herself up?' and Vera asks Kaz if she knows if any of the women did it, Kaz says to Vera what makes her think that it was an inmate.
Bea reveals to Allie that Will helped her out when her daughter died
Bea asks an officer where Will is when Doreen asks Bea about her conjugal and when she is going to talk to the governor, Bea tells her 'not now' and knocks on the glass to speak with Will. Bea walks off and Doreen sarcastically thanks her for the support. Will and Bea talk on the staircase where Bea gives Will a heads up, Ferguson is telling everyone that Will raped her, Will laughs and says that nobody is going to believe it and Bea says that Kaz does and Bea says that Ferguson is playing Kaz as the attack happened at breakfast and she doesn't know who did it. Bea spots Allie on the stairs and rushes to her and grabs her to speak with her, Bea tells her that if she reports back to Kaz on what she saw there will be hell to pay, Allie jokes and says that Bea loves to rough her up in the showers. Allie tells her that she wont say anything. Allie asks about what is going on between the two of them as 'there has to be something between them going on' and Bea reveals to Allie that Will helped her out when her daughter died and it is a favour that she'll never forget.
Will reports the rumours of Ferguson's assault to Vera
Will talks to Vera about the rumour of where Ferguson's attack happened, he tells Vera that the rumour is that Ferguson was attacked "possibly" at breakfast and Vera asks where he heard it from, Will says it is not a formal accusation just yet. Will says he hadn't made contact with Ferguson ever, but Vera shows him the security footage from the day Ferguson was released from general, Will tells Vera it was an emergency situation after the incident in the yard and Vera says that he remained in Ferguson's cell unaccounted for-- for some time, alone. Vera flies off the handle at Will whom she told him to have no contact with Ferguson and says that because of this has now left himself open to a lawsuit and Will says that the official story is that Ferguson still fell, Vera says for now and she demands that he stays away from Ferguson for the time being because he knows what Ferguson is like, Will leaves the office angry.
Doreen goes to visit Joan who had requested to see her, Doreen asks why Joan wanted to see her and Joan says that she heard the "rumour" that her conjugal was denied but Boomer's was accepted, Joan says it's a joke that is of Vera's doing. Joan talks to Doreen and says that she can offer her some advice.
The women are receiving their meds as Juice takes her meds and walks away Boomer quickly takes her pills and barely gives Officer Gavin Ford to look and see if she has swallowed the pill. Linda stops Boomer and asks her to open her mouth, Boomer asks why and Linda says if she wants to go to her conjugal she needs to know if she had swallowed it, Boomer opens her mouth and Linda looks in and confirms Boomer has taken her pill, but tells her 'a bit of toothpaste' wouldn't hurt. Boomer walks away and she spits out the pill she had to take.
Will calls out Kaz for demeaning the 'real victims' of assault who are currently in Wentworth
Will is walking down the hallway as he says hi to Boomer, but when Kaz walks past him and calls him a 'rapist' Will tells her to stop and he blasts her in front of the other inmates and even members of staff, and he tells Kaz that she is pathetic. Will tells Kaz that he has never touched any of the women and that he thinks that Kaz is a joke because in the prison are "real victims" of assault and that she is demeaning all of the women and all that they have been through. Kaz tells him 'nice speech' and angrily walks away back to her unit, where Kaz tells Allie to get the crew ready for an attack, Allie tells Kaz that they can't because they are on remand, Kaz says that they will just be smart about it as there are cameras everywhere. Joan butts in and says she knows the spots where the cameras do not point to and she knows every single camera in the prison.
Boomer celebrates going to her conjugal
The next morning Linda and several inmates wait to take Boomer for her conjugal visit as Boomer is coming out of her cell Bea and Maxine tell her to stop touching her hair, when Boomer is ready to go she is hyped up and as the inmates who celebrate with her and Boomer just says 'come on bitches!!' and high fives everyone she see's they also have some fun before they walk down the corridor much to an amused Linda who has to escort Boomer to the conjugal room. Linda tells Boomer that she has two hours and that condoms are provided during the visit. Boomer meets Daz and asks him if he has been working out, he says he has. Daz who is worried says that Trina, Boomer's sister might find out because he lied about going to see a second hand car but a screw from the prison rang up to cross check about Daz with her in the other room, Boomer says he is here now and Daz says what happens if she finds out, Boomer says for him to have a shower at his mothers house on the way back. Boomer tells Daz it is the first time she's had sex since she has been in prison and that she will do everything. Boomer begins to tease Daz and he says that he'll have a shower at Damo's when he leaves.
Doreen speaks with Vera about her conjugal being denied, Vera tells Doreen that her pregnancy reflected badly on the the prison. Doreen then says she has always been a model prisoner and is now the peer worker, she reiterates how she become pregnant because of the garden project and being "unsupervised" with the Walford inmates, and Doreen points out that this is also a massive breach of the prisons duty of care and she would be well in her right to sue the prison and the media storm that would ensue about her pregnancy via the staff incompetence but she may not take those steps if her application for conjugal was to be approved, Vera then asks Doreen who she had been talking to.
Boomer is continuing to pleasure Daz and he reveals that Trina won't do what Boomer used to do unless he is straight out of the shower, Daz who is receiving a blow job from Boomer stops to put a condom on but Boomer refuses for that to happen and he says to her that if it isn't on he'll go to prison, Boomer blurts out that they'll just blame her because she is supposed to be on the pill and Daz finally has enough and he leaves, but Boomer says to him that she wants to be a mum more then anything, Daz knocks on the door and leaves, leaving Boomer upset.
Kaz hides her identity during Will's attack
Kaz and her crew are in the hallway and Kaz says they will break up there and meet up outside in the walkway, Kaz hands Allie the phone and Allie questions it but Kaz says it is standard for what they are about to do they spilt up. The women who are in the laundry talk about the laundry they are doing when Boomer comes in and begins crying after her conjugal with Daz as Allie comes in and talks to Bea in private. Allie tells Bea that there is going to be an attack on Mr Jackson 'for the Ferguson thing' and that it is about to happen in the kitchen and she is in a rush to go and join them, but she told Bea this so she could either let the attack happen or warn Mr Jackson to get to safety.
Will escapes Kaz's crews attack
Will is in the kitchen where the kitchen crew are finishing up their duties, as the crew finishes their duties Tina asks Will if they can go and he says that they can, when they leave he finishes up but notices a box left by the crew, Kaz and her crew are seen outside moving the cameras and getting ready to attack Will but Kaz realises that Allie isn't there when she asks where she is the others do not know where she is. Bea is seen running through the halls when she runs into Linda who asks her why she is not at her work unit, Bea stops and asks Linda to get into contact with Will when Linda asks what she is talking about Bea takes her radio and calls for Will on the radio telling him to get out the kitchen, when Will responds he turns around and is immediately attacked by Kaz and her crew, he is sprayed in the face with cleaning chemicals and beaten. Will manages to fight back and get out of the kitchen to call in the code blue, Kaz tells the crew to go and make it back to their units. As the guards rush to the kitchen Bea who is being escorted by Linda is seen by Kaz and the two stare at each other.
Vera refuses to sanction Will talking to Kaz
Will and Vera talk after the attack and Will is complaining that whoever attacked him is part of Proctor's mob Will suggests being given a few minutes to speak with Kaz but Vera refuses to sanction what Will wants and Will says that whoever it is will get away with it and Vera tells him at least he didn't end up with Hep C, Vera then tells Will to tell Linda to bring Bea to her office.
Allie is taken back to her unit, where she explains that she got held up. Kaz who is furious says she was the only one who also knew about the attack, Allie apologies and says that she got held up for a random drug test and that she didn't say anything. Joan tells Kaz and her crew that even if the attack failed, Bea Smith helped a screw by 'screaming' for him and there was no 'greater sin' then doing so, Joan tells them that they can put the final nail in the coffin by using that..
Bea faces the governor after taking Linda's radio to inform Will of the attack
Bea is in the governors office where Vera plays the footage of Bea grabbing Linda's radio and Vera asks Bea what is going on, Bea lies to Vera and says she just wanted to talk with Mr Jackson, Vera asks Linda to go outside and Linda does, Vera tells Bea she can slot Kaz and break her alliance with Ferguson if she talks to her, Bea just says 'dunno' and 'sorry' as Vera tells her she will deal with her later, Bea is sent back to her unit by Linda as they walk through the compound with inmates staring at her and yelling insults at her like 'screw lover' and 'screw fucker'.
Bea is taken back to her unit by Linda who tries to joke with her about 'not being so popular' and it'll 'give her something to think about when she's in the slot', Bea brushes off as Liz goes off at Bea and says that she warned her about defending a screw and she 'took out an ad'. Bea tells Liz 'you know how it is' and that things should be all smoothed over and when she gets slotted everything will go back to normal and Liz tells her she hopes it does because Kaz has been revving everyone up and Bea just says ok. Liz says to Doreen that things aren't ok and that Bea isn't ok and that she has just been cold to her and that it doesn't feel like a family the way it's supposed to be.
Will and Vera watch over the footage of Bea taking Linda's radio and Vera tells Will that Bea needs to be slotted because she stole Linda's radio and disobeyed orders, Will tells Vera that Bea shouldn't be punished for warning him and he tells Vera that she should let him deal with it.
Bea realises she's been played by Kaz
Bea is seen talking to Maxine as Bea realises she played right in Kaz's hands, as Maxine says it doesn't matter. Bea says that she's lost the women, the governor is on her back and Allie may be next as a target. Maxine tries to calm Bea down until Bea says that everything is bullshit and Maxine tells her yes it's bullshit but she needs to give it a rest. Bea who is shocked by Maxine asks 'what's up your arse' and Maxine just replies nothing, Bea doesn't believe it and asks her to spit it out. Maxine reveals that the doctors found a lump in her breast and they have to cut it out. Bea shocked tries to understand Maxine as Maxine says it is fine and they will deal with it as the doctors have caught it early and it is why she didn't want to tell Bea, Bea asks Maxine if she is going to tell the women. she says no as it 'weakens' us'. Will knocks on the door and asks Bea if she is in there, she says she will be in a minute, Maxine tells Bea to go and speak with Will..
Will is bashed by Bea so Kaz cannot get to him first
Bea talks with Will after she finishes talking with Maxine where Will gives Bea a heads up. Will thanks Bea for saving him, Bea thinking she will be slotted is ready to go to the slot for breaking the rules, but Will says no action will be taken against her for it. As Will walks away Bea realises that she can no longer ignore the elephant in the room as Kaz may try to hurt him again, Bea calls out to Will and kicks him in the back which sends him flying to the cell bars, Bea begins punching him telling him to 'keep his hands off the women' and women from around the prison come to see what is happening, they witness officers drag Bea off Will and she is handcuffed and taken to the slot, but not before they walk past Kaz's unit to see a very angry Kaz.
